Default Small Mental Success!

Ok so I lost a lot right away, like 15lbs in the first month...YAY! Well as expected I plateau'd which is fine, I have lost only 2lbs in 3 weeks, still good in my opinion....well last night I just kinda felt "off" kinda wanted to just eat everything in sight, candy, sweets, salty food, you name it I just had this urge...well as I sat there thinking of what I could "start" on....I literally couldnt think of a single item of junk food in my house (we do have TONS of it for hubby who is skinny as crap and a junk foodie) that I wanted to eat. I did eat a bit of popcorn, but I just couldnt convince myself that anything sounded especially appetizing so I didnt eat any junk!!! Stepped on the scale this morning and of course 183.2....same as weeks ago, but thats ok, one little mind success is good enough for me!!!

I feel it's a great success too. For me not caving into cravings and/or finding a healthier usually less crappy carb (my nickname) option is a win win!

That is awesome!!!
Ive had little cravings like that before when dieting... the last time I gave in the worst part besides the obvious anger i had at myself for giving in was the fact that the junk food didnt taste as good as i remembered and it wasnt enjoyable at all.
so kudos to you for beating it!! totally awesome!!

Great job in avoiding potential problems. Just keep it up and the weight will come off.

That's a great mind success. Congrats!
Did the same staring at some lemon cookies and chocolate banana bread in the office. I opted to eat one of my protein cookies instead.

@Dedicated, it's those "small" successes (which I think are HUGE) - all lined up - that will lead to your goal. And you're creating new, healthy habits that will keep you thin. Awesome!

I agree. Not a small success at all. You are doing incredibly well at continuing to fight, even with slower-than-optimal losses. Congratulations!!!
