Default Ate some junk food yesterday...felt sick! (NSV?)

So last night while at the MIL's she served us some sour patch kids and chips she had left over from our niece's birthday party. I indulged a little and that night I felt ill! My stomach hurt, I felt really warm and couldn't get to bed! The sheer thought of that stuff makes me a little off this morning.

I always thought the aversion to junk would never happen to me, but it did! I'm kind of pleased to see my body is rejecting some of the stuff that used to make me fat!

Yeah, I feel ya! I am especially sensitive to sugar, so if I have too much of it I get the night sweats so badly I can't sleep.

Same with me. I am somewhat amazed when I remember the kind (and quantity) of junk I used to be able to gobble down, especially considering the fact that I am/was) a binger. Now if I do the same, I suspect I'll just make myself sick, and I mean the real sick, not 'just a little uncomfortable'.

I decided it was a good thing. My body doesn't need junk anyway, and is now smart enough to recognize it. Good body, good.

My new addiction is muffins. Oh god a good bran muffin with raisins or berries makes me become a candidate for Pavlov's experiments. I had 1 and a half (ack!) of some fresh baked ones my boss made in the office today and have now gone OVER my 50g carb allotment for the day. Hopefully I don't retain water and lose my whoosh streak. (2.8 lbs in 5 days, hellz yeah!)

Awesome! I felt really ill when I ate chicken goujons. They were good quality ones too, like proper meat inside but I guess whatever flavourings/preservatives just didn't sit well with me.

That's been happening to me a lot lately as well, it's one of the reasons why I decided to start eating better. In a way I'm grateful, because now when I crave junk food I can just remind myself how it's made me feel sick and I'm hoping it'll deter me from eating it.
