Hey! Good morning!

Here's my Sunday recipe...I don't have nutritional values, sorry!

Strawberry Yogurt Pie

1 graham cracker crust
2 containers (8 oz) strawberry yogurt
1 pkg fat free/sugar free instant pudding
8 oz container FF Cool Whip
1 pint strawberries, sliced

Place about1/2 the strawberries in the bottom of the crust.
Mix yogurt, pudding mix and cool whip til smooth, pour over strawberries, garnish with the rest of the strawberries...I placed them around the edge of the pie. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. You can vary the flavor of the yogurt, the pudding or what fruit you use... the girl at work who brought this in, used crushed pineapple and banana with strawberry banana yogurt. I made it as posted and it was SO GOOD! Not real sweet, very tasty! I know what I'm brining to Mom's on Easter!

Gotta run, my daughter and I are off to Campus Day at her college. Thank God the sun is shining!

Have a great day everyone!

Oh, before I forget...
Speaking of college...congratulations, 2cute on your daughter's scholarship!! That is excellent! I know you must be bursting with pride.

Now, if mine could hook herself up with some nice numbers like that!

DAY 5 CHALLENGE: MET NO CHEAT CHALLENGE AND EXERCISE

Good morning everybody! So far it is a beautiful day but we are supposed to get some real thunderstorms this afternoon.

Mary, Kat and Thin: Hi to you!

I am still feeling kind of lousy so did not go to church today. When I am feeling this way, I cannot sit for a long time. I hope to get to the mall as soon as it opens and get my exercise in for today to get it over with.

Not much news here. DH is going to shampoo my carpets upstairs today but that is about as exciting as it gets. I haven't heard anything about any of the resumes I have submitted, but whatever happens, happens!

Well, I am going to go. I will peek in later and see if anyone has posted.

Red face Sheesh....

Ok, I responded to everyone...took me an hour. I highlighted my text to copy it in case the computer did something screwy and instead of hitting "copy", I hit "paste" and lost the whole blasted thing.

I love you all and I will be back later. Race is on.

GRRRRRR

2Cute: Congrats on your daughter's scholarship! WooHoo!

Anyway, I got an even shorter haircut over the weekend, and now have lost a total of 12 pounds in the last couple of weeks. The only bad thing was I ate something with pecans in it yesterday, and well...I had the 'squirts' and bad stomach cramps for almost 3 hours after! I guess I better avoid nuts of all kinds from herein just to be on the safe side.

This morning, I felt tired and crappy when I woke up, and once I tested my blood sugar, I got my answer as to why: my glucose reading was 45! So I wasted no time getting something to eat, and eventually, it was back up to 122. Geez.

Tina: I was watching the race with dh and saw TS's Coke commercial (leg shaving) for the first time. How funny is that! I loved it. He sure dominated the commercial time this week it seemed like. But Hey, why is he touting those awful diet pills! You need to teach him better. I didn't know he had a face under the whiskers until I saw that commercial though!

Lori: Sounds like you must have had a lot of hair if you lost 12 lbs!

Well, got my walk in at the mall and got there before the stores opened up so it was nice and deserted. Good thing because I went without make up (a real first for me, but I felt so awful I didn't even care!). I promised dh pork chops and stuffing for dinner so I am going to have to get going on it pretty soon I guess.

It is pouring down rain here so I opted not to clean carpets today. The pets and dh would just drag in dirt on them from outdoors. They will last for a few more days of not being shampooed I guess.

Hope everyone is doing great today. I am OP with my food and doing fine, just wish the cramps would go away. I expect that by tomorrow they will be a memorie but they are certainly real right now! I get such backaches and leg aches with them that it makes it hard to sleep so I am tired again today.

Well, better go.

Default Hey

I want to see Tony in a commercial - ANY commercial. I just noticed and thought I would point this out to you, Tina. Mr. Stewart has nice lips, too.

Just got in from a walk. Brrrr is that wind cold today.

I have mostly just been being nervous over this job thing.

Hey!! I thought I said I didn't want any snow down this way, Sandy!!! I just heard we're supposed to get some SNOW tomorrow! AAAGGHHHH! What will my poor little flowers do?

I got lots of exercise in today. Brother in law rented a dumpster to clean out his garage and basement...there was still room, so he said bring over anything you want to toss in...that's all he had to tell me!! Two FULL carloads later...and I mean full...I made a huge dent in my garage, and get rid of lots of junk inside the house too. FlyLady would be so proud of my major decluttering!

I have to run...dh will be home soon, I have to scare up some dinner for him...then off to bed for work tonight!

I hope eveyone had a great weekend!

Wink Alright....let's try this again

First of all,

Thin: Have you not been warned that you do not just start a thread and then leave? Do I have to get Sandy after you? You know, she is head over the "start the post" police!

Speaking of.....

Sandy: Where the heck are you woman? We've already had 9 replies on this post and not one has been from you! (and I know you were on here earlier today because I saw your little green light on) Come out and play my sweet friend!

Kat: Seems like you're doing really good lately. I am so proud of you. I won't brag, but weather here in Tennessee was absolutely beautiful all weekend....in the 70's. It was a shame to be cooped up at work. P.S. The recipe looks great.

Donna: Sorry you're feeling crappy sweet lady. I hope you get back to your ornery old self soon. By the way, I don't know what I was thinking when I asked to meet up with you on Thursday when I go to see Tony in Nashville. For some reason, I was thinking that's where you lived. I hope you don't think I expected you to drive there from Memphis. I'm such a loon.

2cute: Sorry I've been so rude. Congrats on your daughters accomplishments. I would say they are a reflection on such a wonderful Mom.

Lucky: It's not that difficult to see a Tony commercial....all you have to do is turn the race on, on Sundays. He's in about 10 or so. By the way, your comment on his lips.........oh yeah.

Lori: Doesn't it feel good to have your hair cut? My hair was long forever and I finally got it cut off after growing it for about 4 years. It was all the way down to my butt and I was really hesitant about it, but I love it now.

Deon: Where are you at girl? I miss you.
Thank you for being so concerned about me the last couple of days. I'm still not normal yet, but I'm working on it.

Michelle: Where the heck are you? Don't make me come through this screen and pull you back in here!

Sara: Thanks for saying what you said about me being honest. That's the highest compliment someone can give in my opinion. When it's all said and done, no matter what you looked like, what you owned or where you lived....it all comes down to your word. That's all a person has. I try to be extremely honest with you guys because you are my heart. If I lie to you, it's like lying to myself.

Well, the day started out really good. I had a granola bar and an apple for breakfast. Lunch was Campbell's Select chicken noodle soup w/12 FF crackers. (I had already consumed 4 cups of water) Then, I come home and boom! Dh has bought some fish from Captain D's, and oh well, you can guess the rest. I'm not dwelling on it though.

I'm torn over issue of WW right now. I am definitely going to follow the points plan, because I truly believe in it. However, I've not been to an actual meeting in months. I usually just go and WI. I'm thinking about trying to do this on my own (with you guys of course) and just weighing in at the mall every week. I don't know....what do you think?

Psssssss, Lucky, this is for you too.
Nice, huh?

P.S. Guess who's gonna go see him Thursday?!

Tina: I have to say that when you pick em you do pick em well! I am afraid I would feel like a child molester though I could teach him things he would only be amazed at! I was watching a John Wayne pic with dh tonight (Rio Bravo) which I have seen about 25 times and the only reason I really watch it was for that hunk Rick Nelson. Gracious that man was good lookin'. Too bad his life ended so tragically cause he could sing too! I love dark haired men anyway like Chris Noth from Law and Order, Elvis wasn't too bad either though the hair and sideburns were a little over the top for me, Ben Afleck is a cutey for a youngun'. I loved him in Pearl Harbor. Now don't laugh, but when I was in Junior High School I had this huge and I mean huge crush on Tom Jones. I never missed his show and played his records all the time! He is now old, fat and gray, but can still sing to beat the band!

Lucky: Talk about lips, now Rick Nelson had lips! woohoo! As for TS's lips, most women would die for a pair of lips like that!

We have a lot of absent ladies today, Sandy, Duckie, Deon, Sara, where are you? We missed you today! You are missing out on our hunky men discussion!

I have to cool off before my dh wonders why I am crawling all over him tonight! Heck, he would never question it, just enjoy it.....

Well, I have brought the level of this thread down quite a bit tonight so I guess I had better go.

I stayed OP and got in my exercise so I am still on track with the challenge.

Hugs to you all,

Donna

OK OK I'm here! What a crazy weekend. We went to inlaws early Sat. morning to take my nephew home and then decided to help MIL move somemore and didn't end up coming home til late this eve. And returned with my great niece, 18 months old. She is soooo cute. We have her til Tues. Her mom, (my niece) is pregnant for the second time and she is out of control diabetic so she has Dr. appt at specialist. She had one normal healthy child, I just hope she can do it again. I love her dearly, she had a rough life and is now trying to make a good life for herself and her daughter and she has a great husband. I just hope everything goes well. I forgot how much of a handful a 1 yr old can be. Whew! getting her to sleep was something. She is great though. Anyway, that is where I have been. I am eating well not a lot of exercise. I do have to tell you a story though. I have been getting real tired of soup salad and subway so I decided it was time to eat some real food and we went to KFC, my all time favorite and I was so proud of me, I did save points for it and ate half a days points, but I removed skin, skipped the cole slaw and biscuits, I did so good. I normally would leave that place feeling like I ate a horse and was going to explode. But I did it, and now I'm satisfied. And I can go back to greenery. It was good though. I am going to go for now, I will be back in the morning.
