Default Ugh...plateau

So my body is terrified of 214. I saw it ONCE last week and the next day I was up 3 lbs and now I'm stalled out at 215....I've been eating "okay", never eating over maintenance but sometimes just hitting it (between my mom's birthday and some other events it was tough to stay on track). I know it could be salt, but I also think my body doesn't like 214 for some reason.

I know that I have to keep at it and stay OP and it will come off. Seagirl will ask what I'm eating, if I'm being thorough with my calorie counting, JonP will say it's simple math, calories in vs. calories out and that I just have to keep at it. Mentally, I understand this advice and definitely believe in it, but when you're experiencing a plateau it drives you batty!

There's nothing to be said, I guess, other than "good luck"?

Actually, Seagirl will say "mine is afraid of 183!!"

I have these same talks with myself, I post to Sparkpeople where they can see my food trackers and I don't have post a sample menu, I whine to my nutritionist, I get out my tape measure and my camera and smaller jeans, I ask my cat if I look thinner, I look at pictures from 6 months ago, I concentrate on my fitness levels (and I running and biking farther and faster?) and sometimes I cry and say "why me?"

try changing your exercise routine, drink more water, take vitamins if you aren't getting enough. also if you are eating a little bit of high calories food try eating more low calories food. also try not eating after 5pm.

Ugh, I've plateaued too but I'm finally starting to get through it. I drank tons of water and green tea yesterday, cut out a lot of salty food, and walked 4 miles. Keep going and don't give up or slip up. It's a slippery slope if you lose your motivation.

Ha. I have been working out every day (swimming 30 minutes - so not vigerous) and I have not put a single bad thing in my mouth in 16 days - not one. I am eating every two hours and drinking at least 100 OZ of water per day. I have been stuck since saturday and the kicker is I only started the week before that. Ok... so I refuse to mention the word that starts with PLAT... no way. This morning I got frusterated with the scale - this afternoon (after making the right choices and working out) I feel calm and know that everyones bodies are different and mine will make it past this dumb number on the scale soon.
