Getting back in the game, hoping for good things

  • I posted an intro here a while back (a long while back) and never returned. I suppose I just wasn't ready.

I've never really been serious about dieting, I've been serious about not wanting to be fat, but when it actually came down to the nitty gritty I backed off. Now I've lost 22 pounds, the most I've ever lost, and feeling like I can do it this time. After BALLOONING up to 311 lbs., a personal BEST, I watched that weird juicing movie Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead and it...you know...kind of changed my life. Just a little bit.

I've never been into fad stuff, as an eternal skeptic. However, juicing really kick-started this weight loss era for me. I've been doing pretty well with just my mom for support, but since I'm serious this time (TOTALLY SERIOUS) I think I can open up more to a larger community. I've always been very, very personal about my weight issues. Phew, hopefully this is it.
  • Welcome! And congratulations on losing 22 pounds!
  • Welcome back! Just keep in mind that the man who did that movie was being supervised by doctors. Also, it's really just a feature length advertisement for juicers.
