Since the scale isn't moving, I need to take encouragement where I can get it. This weekend I was able to wear my engagement ring again after almost 7 years! Last year (I think it was in the fall) I finally fit back into my wedding band, but my engagement ring still wouldn't fit over my chubby fingers. They are both the same size (4), but somehow the smooth wedding band fit over my finger, but the more uneven engagement ring band (due to diamonds) wouldn't. Every few months I kept trying, but no dice. This weekend I was looking for a piece of jewelery and saw my engagement ring. I figured, "What the heck, I'll give it another try!" It fit! I'm wearing it right now....so sparkly! So what if the scale hasn't been my friend lately? I have my diamonds to comfort me. :carrot:

That's motivation, huh? Keep going and you will reach many more victories.

Congrats! That must be an awesome feeling, especially since it's a ring that holds such sentimental value. You know what would be great? If we could award ourselves diamonds for every weigh-loss goal achieved :D
