Good morning!

I am still at 180....I began at 188 two weeks ago...My time of the month started on Friday and the scale hasn't moved since then....hopefully next week I will be in the 170's....I have noticed that I can now run/jog for a longer period of time....I take in around 1,400 calories a day...I started out feeling like I was starving, but eating raw nutz (very small amount) helped me...now, I no longer feel hungry all of the time...I am actually growing to like fruit and veggies!

DianaThanks for the encouragment and I did stick to a sliver of cheesecake. I find it so hard to say no and I see my sister several times per week. She bakes often. I will go there for tea and she whips up a batch of tea biscuits or chocolate chip cookies from scratch. So hard to resist, refuse and not hurt her feelings. I try to save points for one and give rest to DH.

cbressler1976Welcome and good job on losing 8 pounds.

My WI was this morning and I lost 3.8.

Breakfast
2 cups of coffee with light cream (2)
2 whole grain/flax bread (3)
4 slices veg bacon (2)
1 cup sunflower sprouts
1 tsp mayo (1)
1 raw cookie (figs,nuts) small-4

Planning on a big salad with a protein like sardines or nuts for lunch and fish for dinner with brown rice and spinach.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Good Morning Everyone,
My day didn't go according to plan, but I still got some things done. Believe it or not, my laundry room floor is finally free of laundry. The basket upstairs hasn't been brought down yet. I'm not sure why, but yesterday right in the middle of errands, I got the worst stomach ache ever. So I bought my newest wardrobe (2 capris, 3 pants size 14) and came straight home. I ended up in bed with a fever. I slept for a bit then tried on my pants, all fit, loosely. I might be a 12 within this month. We'll see.

So today, it's laundry, lawn and errands. I gotta get Lady Gaga for the long car ride. I love to sing Drives DH ( a musician) crazy that I have an eclectic collection. I didn't even know I liked Lady Gaga until one day DD said I was singing one of her songs. I hardly ever listen to the radio so how I learned it, I have no idea, but apparently I know a lot of them...so thought I should get the cd. It will make for great walking music. I love walking to my punk music, but when Dolly Pardon comes on, I'm just as happy. Don't get me started on my "grandpa music" (folk). I just walk slower to those.

Anyway, I hit 189.8 for two days now, hoping it sticks for tomorrow's weigh in. So the Big Mac meal has not hurt my weight loss, but the rest of the stuff is here. Headache, stomach pain and constipation...yay, I never learn. I held out for 4 months though, that's good, right?

ItsMyTurn that was a lot of exercise yesterday, holy cow. Great NSV. I got those comments earlier this year and I so know the joy. I used to look at the roll and wonder how can I lose it and then it was gone. I stare at it a lot now, in amazement. Some fat parts disturbed me more than others. I'm enjoying my body lately, so weird, I just said that And I so love when others (DH) notice too. I'm loving clothes now too, I can wear tight shirts and not worry that people are confused which is the front or back. I can't believe I just said that.

cbressler 8lbs in two weeks, plus TOM is very good, awesome job. Keep up the great work.

Diana I love when music makes you feel good. I liked the banjo vid you shared. I love the banjo. I really wish I could play Have a great day.

I must go and start my day. DH will come home tomorrow around 5pm. I'd like to impress him with my housework and bags packed. The kids are still alive and I didn't burn the house down. These are all good things. Usually when he's gone, I do one crazy thing. Let's hope it was the McD's this time A clean bathroom would be nice too.

I hope you all have a wonderful and healthy day.

Hi, newbie to the boards here. Decided it is time to stop hiding from friends and family since the weight gain and enjoy being 27 years old and alive. Currently I weight 233 pounds. Pre-binge eater days (just 3 years ago), I weighed a healthy 155 pounds and was a runner. Headed to the gym to run for the first time in 3 years. I am scared sh*tless!

I'm new here too. My heaviest was 172, a few months ago. I started changing my diet and walking. I am now 158.2 today. Yay! and this is a week before TOM, so I know I am holding on to some fluid.
I have been eating alot of salads and I am now actually loving them! I started counting my calories this week, my daily total is 1500. This am for breakfast I had a bowl of Kellog's Special K fruit and yogurt, I stick with the serving size. My husband and I used to eat out all of the time! Now we are eaing out less, but when we do, we make healthier choices. Since he saw me making a lifestyle change he jumped on board too.
I usually walk at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. I have fibromyalgia so I can't over do it. It takes me 40 minutes to walk 2 miles. Some days I walk 3. Yesterday I walked for 30 mins. Today I want to take a break, but find myself wanting to walk! lol.

Happy Sunday!

Finding a renewed sense of motivation. I'm grocery shopping today to get stocked back up on the right things. I'm going to hire a personal trainer too to get off my bum. The scale has creeped up a bit, but I can deal with it. I'm determined not to make this yet another "diet" failure.

I'm in control...I can do this, for myself!!!

Default Missed yesterday...

But today, the first day of my second week weighed in at 173.4. Last week was 178.

I think that about does it for my water weight, this week the real work begins and I am traveling starting Tuesday afternoon, which is VERY hard for me to keep on any diet plan, especially on planes and in airports and at all day meetings. I am a vegetarian and I don't eat gluten and that makes it even more difficult to find anything but junk food. I also will not be by a scale after Tuesday until Sunday. Will bring some food for the first plane ride, but that won't work after day one.

I just weighed myself for the first time in over a year and the scale says 288 (The heaviest I've ever been).. yikes!

I am on day 3 of my new lifestyle and feeling awesome! about 50% of my diet is fresh and cooked vegetables and about 30% is fruits. The remainder is a combination of nuts/seeds and beans.

I don't count calories because I don't need to. I don't use oils, butter, milk, cheese, meat, pasta, bread, rice or processed foods. Though if I need to, I can always allow a very small amount once or twice a week.

The best part is, my skin feels amazing just after three days! It used to be dry, now it feels like I've used lotion from head to foot.

Hey everyone. Well, no wonder the scale was up. TTOM surprised me by coming two days early!

Today has been a wash for eating - making it a maintenance day. I had a lunch at a pizza buffet and with 4 hours of sleep - my choices were OK, the fell apart later in the day. So, I'm ending at around 1850 for the day. Got a walk in, but I'm still babying my neck a bit.

Tomorrow I'll bike to the store again and do week 1 day 3 of the c25k workout. and if I have time, some yard work or working on the garage with cleaning it out.

Hitting the sack soon as I'm just DONE for the day.
