Default clothes aren't getting looser, but my weight is dropping???

I've lost 11 total pounds since starting a new workout regimen in the beginning of March. But my pants aren't any less tight than they were 11 pounds ago. What gives?

I too have lost 11lbs since March and don't notice a difference yet (other than my stamina and stuff). Just keep going, very soon something will happy. I imagine we're losing the weight evenly maybe, so it's not quiet enough in any one area to make clothes fit better yet.

It depends on where you lose and your body shape. I tend to gain weight all over, which means I got away with too-smal clothes for many additional pounds, but the downside is that on the way back down the scale I fit into those selfsame pants for twenty or sometimes thirty pounds, and then magically seem to drop a size or two in a week.

It's just the nature of our bodies and their individual quirks. Be patient and diligent with your habits, and it will come off!

Lost 27.5 lbs and all my clothes still fit and I'm 5'3'' even. Also was told I look the same. Crazy stuff, maybe I lost it from my neck or feet haha

I sometimes thank my lucky stars that I was on the cusp of sizes when I started this weight loss journey as it allowed me to see it in my clothes fast. But reality was, those size 20s worked for me from 250-275. I started at 255, so I quickly got to an 18.

But as Acticmama said, it also depends on where your body drops the weight first. I lost (and continue to lose) the most from my waist and THAT is the biggest determiner in how clothing fits - can I button them or not, right? But if you are losing more in your chest, or legs or arms, you aren't going to see it as much in how clothing fits. But..... you will soon enough, just keep at it!

I drop a size after about 15 pounds but it will vary, everybody is different, and sizing varies crazily.

This happened to me as well - and then all of a sudden none of my clothes fit me anymore! Everyone's bodies lose weight differently, I'm sure you'll notice it soon enough

According to my friends and family, my face is a lot thinner than it was 8kg ago. Eventually you'll start to lose the weight in places that will affect your waistline/clothing sizes more.

You don't necessarily lose the weight evenly or in the places you want. You could have lost the weight from your arms or something. It sucks, but if you keep at it then you'll definitely see changes.

For a while I was dropping pant sizes but my waist and top were not moving so I wore the same shirt size for a LONG TIME. Then, almost all at once, my waist started going down and now I need XS and S shirts.

Im tall, it takes me AT LEAST 20 pounds to drop a pant size, which drives me nuts! I would just keep going, you will discover how your body works with weightloss soon enough

I didn't notice any difference with my weight loss until I lost 35lbs, if not more. Just keep on losing weight and you'll definitely feel the difference!

I am an all over gainer/ loser and it takes quite a few pounds to change clothes sizes but when it happens it is like I wake up and none of my clothes fit.

Ive lost 15lbs & the only thing that I have noticed is my stomach is a lot smaller. I tend to lose weight there 1st. However this does not help me wear smaller clothes. I have wide hips and seem to loose that last. So while my pants are huge in the waist....they still fit properly on my hips and I can NOT wait until these hips go down. Just keep working at it & you will notice a difference soon.

Whew, well I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've heard that sometimes you can't SEE a difference, but you can feel it in your clothes. I started to worry and get discouraged when my pants aren't any baggier. But I gotta keep trucking and *hopefully* soon I'll get to buy new pants!

I lose weight from the outside in. Face, ankles, wrists, calves forearms....it takes a LONG time to get to hips, abdomen and waist where the pantsize lives.
