interesting thread ...

First - that is no where remotely close to 700g of protein. Since we don't know the composition of the shakes he is probably around 160-180g of protein. For a person his size this is not too much.

Second - more fat is not neccessary. He is getting enough fat. The amount of fat you need to ingest to meet your essential need is very small.

Third - the OP does not complain he is hungry or going crazy from lack of variety. Yes - all of us would go crazy but apparently not the OP.

Fourth - It is not possible to eat too many veggies.

What is the problem? Lack of losing weight. Hard to say for sure but he is probably around 1500-1600 calories per day. That plus an hour of intense cardio means the OP is definately in a deficit. Thus - just like a lot of women - the OP is dealing with water. 3 weeks is not that long of a time.

To the OP-

You're not 26% fat. No way, no how. Bio impedence monitors are highly unaccurate. Also - 26% on a guy would be pretty chunky. Are you pretty chunky? For you to be at 26% at your height/weight you would have to have almost no muscle.

If you're happy with your food program than I personally have no issues with it. Assuming you're not lying about your food intake than I'd say you're probably going to experience a "whoosh" soon.

That said - depending on what your goals are - you should probably drop the insanity program and start lifting some weights.

Try switching up your protein sources, dropping some of the carbs, and adding some healthy fat in. Coconut oil is amazing.
I think he would do really well on the Atkins diet. Men generally do.

Thanks ..

yeah i get about 200 grams of protien and 1600 calories seems right on my calorie intake... iam mostly trying to lose the most fat as i can not worried about muscle ..right now.. I do drink lots of water .. so iam hoping that your whoosh theory.. would be correct lol..But today i had and eagerness to go on a one week fast.. i think this will fast track me in to the 200lbs wich is my goal... then I would be sure iam on the right track.. without the up and down scale..

i Do love the atkins i do lose alot of weight on it ..but usually eat bad things in over moderation..chicken wings.. steaks..burgers on lettuce.. so it makes me overindulge.. wich i still lose weight but I think i also consume too many calories..
