When I say eating "clean", I'm talking about whole foods and not eating processed foods...basically, eating fruits, veggies, beans, low-fat or skim dairy, and fish.

By that definition, I don't eat "clean" at all. My days usually include sugar, starch, meat, full-fat dairy, processed foods (and a healthy amount of fruit/veg/usually beans/sometimes fish)

For those of you that cheat, does that hinder your weight loss journey or do you find that having a cheat day or meal once per week actually allows you to NOT end up going on an all out binge.

I've been losing a steady 2lb per week. The two weeks I took completely "off", in the sense that I paid minimal attention to my diet or exercise, I lost 1.6lb. I'm calling that "not hindered" because I don't want to lose weight faster than that.

As for me, I just started eating clean as of last Friday. I've been doing great so far, but today I cheated by ordering a cheese pizza. At least it was just a cheese pizza and didn't have any additional toppings on it.

For eating clean - how is cheese pizza better than pizza loaded up with every vegetable topping they serve? I went from ordering pizza to either ordering pizza and making salad, or ordering two family-size salads for every pizza. There's usually pizza in the house for about three days.. but it makes a popular breakfast!
