I don't have a ton of spare cash for rewards, but I have gotten approval from my husband to get a nice purse at 180 and a wallet to match at 170.

I've gone my whole adult life with computer bags or cheap purses, I figured this was a good way to upgrade my style

I got myself an iPad at my halfway to goal, but other than that I don't have rewards for mini-goals. Reaching the number is reward enough for me!

My rewards are:

a) I got the last box of skinny clothes out of my garage and they FIT!

b) I can now focus on my health and not so much on my weight - building muscles and improving my heart health. I figure the weight will stay off as long as I do this.

c) I can go hiking again! I plan to do quite a lot of hiking this spring.

d) Maybe a periodic pedicure and a massage every now and then. I've earned it! Starting in two weeks, when we have the $$

Lol, I'm the exact opposite...

All the years I spent eating my way to obesity was "reward" enough.

My life for the past few years has been penance for all those said rewards.

I don't feel like I deserve to "treat" myself for not eating my face off, or not exercising. Those are just things I do now..things I should have been doing all along...

My big reward is going to come when I reach my goal weight of 165 pounds. 3 years ago when I was at my heaviest (335) I had photos taken in a Glamor Shots photoshoot, I still have those photos and I plan on getting NEW ones taken when I reach 165 to replace the old ones. 27 pounds left to go!

For me, the loss is it's own reward. I will, of course, have to invest in a new wardrobe. One thing I'm going to try not to do in the next few pounds/months is buy new clothes. I have bought a few out of need, but without knowing where I'll end up, I shouldn't waste money on buying more.

The other thing i was thinking is buying a really nice pair or two of butt jeans... you know, the kind that costs a small fortune but are supposed to make your butt look really good? If I'm at a weight I'm going to stay at, then spending money on some jeans should be OK since they'll last year after year!

Last time, I rewarded myself with really nice bras and panties from Victoria's Secret. I'll probably do the same this time too.

Oh, yes, I had forgotten this one. I plan to do this, this coming year. Also we need to have a family portrait done; it's been years since we did and the kids are growing up.

From the start, I had said that when I got to my goal of being under 150, I could take scuba lessons. (something I've always wanted to do) So, my mini goal rewards were scuba related. I got the lesson book at 25 pounds lost and a scuba mask at 50 pounds lost. I had lost 67 pounds (3 away from goal)... then gained 40+ back. *sigh*

So, I still get scuba lessons at being under 150, but I need to set new mini rewards. I'm thinking a snorkel at 15 pounds lost (180) and a set of fins at 30 lost (165).

I also get a "free day" for every 10 pounds I lose. Yes, I know that's a food reward, but I know from past experience that it works for me. By free day, I mean I get one day where I eat mostly normally, but I get a treat or one meal of something that's usually not allowed. I don't go overboard.

Now I'm wishing I did that. We're pretty close in stats and the amount of time it took us to get to where we are now and your going to see such an amazing difference when their done.

As i've lost more weight I stopped giving myself rewards for minigoals. I'm actually pretty content just seeing the numbers down, fitting into clothes better, and actually being proud of my body(even its imperfections). But I will be going insanely overboard when I hit my goal.

My reward will be...being healthy and happy with my body! I'm sure I'll buy a bunch of cute clothes when I get to goal weight, but right now I'm just focusing on being healthy.

I do things like: new hair-dos .... if I hit 145, I want to do a spray tan - something, under normal circumstances I would never consider.

Sometimes I like to celebrate by cooking a brand new healthy recipe - Looking through all the tastiest recipes online and finding something interesting.
