I'm thrilled that I can identify with so many of your goals! (Except the Marathon planner- you're definitely out of my league.

People of all sizes go to the gym, and almost all of them are more focused on themselves than anyone else they happen to encounter there. All it takes is the motivation to join, go and keep going! Make yourself exercise regularly for a couple weeks, and it'll become a lot easier to keep going. Start with whatever you can do. If that's 15 minutes of walking every day, great; walk 15 minutes every day! If the thought of working out at the gym gives you the hibbie-gibbies, start at home.
I joined a gym at the beginning of November and got into the habit of going every day I'm at home (at least 6 days/week). I still don't always feel like going, but it's become a sort of routine, daily obligation like brushing my teeth. I think of it has a quota of at least 30 minutes of cardio everyday and have started to budget for "skip" days.

Number #1 doesn't necessarily require #3.
My "seat" is still over 40", and I typically wear an 8. A smaller butt would make pants shopping easier though. Finding "curvy" cuts or the stretch to accommodate my smaller waist and larger hips/thighs is a challenge.

Juniors' size are always so variable. (Especially at Wet Seal, most of their stuff is super small even by junior's standards.) When I was younger I remember feeling bad when I ended up in a juniors' large. Now that I'm older I know that a juniors' large is often the same size as a ladies' small or sometimes even a juniors' small in another brand.
