Default Anyone else have this problem?

I just had my third baby and during the pregnancy lost 15lbs (I always loose while pregnant ). I was working out before getting pregnant but stopped while I was pregnant, just didn't have the energy. Now my baby girl is 3 mos and I'm packing on the weight. Nothing has changed routine wise, I'm running off my feet most days, why the weight gain? And what can I do to stop it and start loosing? Or at least not gain anymore. Working out is not an option at the moment. Any suggestions!

Oh boy, I can relate. Chances are that you are probably just eating more - 3 babies is a lot harder than 2, and there might be some snacking etc. that just adds up. Are you nursing? Maybe just stopped nursing? All hormonal/metabolic things aside, it's just more likely that you've been eating more. Have you thought of tracking your food intake?

I agree - for lots of moms, nursing really bumps up your appetite. You are probably eating more, and just not aware of it as you are so busy with your baby and other little ones.

I gained 40-45 pounds for all 3 of my pregnancies.. I never had a lick of morning sickness so never lost a pound in pregnancy (I wish!). But for me, nursing made me hold onto my weight - still does. I'm still nursing a 2 1/2 year old that doesnt' want to give it up.. and I really find my weight loss slow. Many women drop weight like crazy when nursing.. about 10% are the opposite. I'm one of those - you might be too.

So track your food and see what you're eating and how much. You might be surprised!

GL and congratulations on your new baby!
