A few personals from last week’s thread….

Melissa: Happy Belated Anniversary! What a fabulous photo showing off the new you, even if it was blurry! WoW What a difference!

Star: I am so glad you have had a great vacay & Congrats on ur little NSV! How CUTE!!

Jo: I am SO with you on the eating enough cals thing. I have NO probs eating 1400 cals/day, no matter if it’s junk or healthful! My task is spacing the cals out during the day so that I am not eating to many at one sitting!

Diana: I, too, have had those days where sweets and desserts have WON. Today was NOT one of them. Whew!! Good for you for sticking to your guns and NOT giving in to temptation.

MamaKat: I’m so glad you’re here.

KittenMancer: “Food Porn”

Kristiina: I MISS YOU!!!

Isabella: Glad to see your return!

WannaBe
: Good Luck Cal Counting. Most of us do this on this thread!

Hey, everyone!

I must confess- this weekend I did TERRIBLE. I knew I was making bad eating choices and I totally didn't care.

Saturday we went to a cider mill, which was super fun. But I ate 4 donuts. Technically it was my lunch, so I have no idea if I went over in calories or not for the day, but I really didn't need 4 donuts.

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. First of all, I had apple bread from the cider mill with breakfast, and then at lunch with dad had two helpings of spaghetti and 2 pieces of cake. That was both my lunch and dinner, so once again I have no clue if I went over in cal but I definitely should have been making smarter choices.

Today I am getting back on schedule.

Weigh in was 168, a gain of one pound.

Hope you all have a great day!

It's a new day and I set one goal for myself (besides laundry) and that's to get on my bike and ride (for at least 30 mins). I will do this, I can do this. Today is WI but I haven't had a chance as everyone is up and moving and we only have one bathroom, I am never priority in this situation as I don't have a job or school...this is okay by me, the scale will always be here AND so will I

I hope everyone has a wonderful and healthy day!

K9 That was a crazy feeling that I had on Saturday. I have continued to think about it and I am curious about something. I wonder if I was feeling like that, no only because of waking too early but also because I don't drink as much water on the weekend. Maybe I was a little dehydrated. When I got to the shop, I drank the 2 bottles of water and ate the vanilla yogurt. I seemed fine after that. I've also been fine ever since. Crazy body/crazy head!

Still Your weekend sounds fun, though.

Morning all! I'm solo for a few days while DH is at a conference. Not much changes for me except instead of just making breakfast and lunch for the oldest, I need to drop him off at school and read to the little one every night instead of every other night. I miss Sven though - probably because we had such a good time on Friday night and were supposed to go out on Saturday. Soon though - this Saturday for SURE... maybe.

My weight is still climbing on this darn antibiotic and I'm still getting headaches, but now I'm thinking it's not my thyroid, but from a strained muscle in my neck as the headache starts in that same muscle in the neck every time... we'll see.

Not much else. I made 6 dozen cookies for Sunday school and for home for Halloween, but I only ate ONE. That's pretty amazing in itself as I love these cookies. i'm just not tempted by them! yay me!

And thanks for the kind comments on the fitness photo. I will do a good photo when DH and I go out on our date. I still see how far I need to go, but I also need to focus on how far I've come. Sometimes that hard especially when I stare at my imperfections in the mirror - and there are MANY imperfections. Life has not been kind to my body, but oh well.

Berry I hope this week passes quickly for you. I can't wait to see the picture of you and Sven dressed up for your "date".

Quick drive by to say Good Morning to all (except my scale, bad morning to him , back up to 180, wth?)
Off to take the kiddos to school and then for my brisk walk, brrrrrrr. I need to get with the program today and get some stuff done. I was so sluggish all weekend, hopefully today finds me with lots of energy.
I am sore again from Saturdays weight lifting routine. Last weeks routine really kicked my butt. I have to decide whether I move on to the next routine or do that one again since it was hard for me.
TTYL!!!

I'm still store from the weights routine we did Saturday morning too and I very rarely get sore. My weights were even lighter than I have done them in the past, but I think I did the squats deeper and boy, do my quads FEEL IT. Better today, but Sunday I was achy - big time.

WI 224.6, down a pound from last week but up a pound from lowest weight. It's all good though. I'll see that 60lb mark again soon enough, as I WILL EXERCISE THIS WEEK! OK, I'm off

From last weeks thread, I wanted to shout out to WannaBeLoser and say YAY for hopping on the calorie counting train!

I'm up again and again. LOL 189.2 today. Up .6 from yesterday. I am feeling SUUUUPER tired this morning. Still didn't get enough water yesterday although it was much better than the day before. I was scrambling with school work and it took its toll.

Today is new and great. I am present and ready to face it. I have gym clothes and am hoping to get some sort of movement after work today.

I'll try to catch up on the reading later. I've got some work to do. Hope everyone has a wonderfully healthy and ON PLAN day!!!

Morning all

Ok, seriously, I was so tired last night, I only took time for personals and not to ck in with myself. So, I’ll recap the weekend.

Friday night/Saturday morning at work, the girls ordered I had 4 slices in 9 hrs plus ice cream and I defo lost it at work
Saturday, I was a zombie & had a couple glasses of wine at dinnertime with some chips and bean dip.
Friday's Cals: 1298
Saturday's Cals: ~2230

Then---there was Sunday! Thank You, Jesus for a new week! A friend of DH, DH, and I went for a 15 mile bike ride! The weather was GORGEOUS! Nice and but not too hot! DH had wanted to go out to eat with his parents at a steakhouse that throws peanuts on the floor. He knows I HATE those restaurants. So, I told him I was not eating there. He got really mad at me and made this statement: “Why do you always have to be different? Why can’t you just eat what everybody else eats? Why do you always have to eat something else?”
I was NOT happy about this! He and his parents are obese. His parents moreso than him. My MIL is an avid baker. She bakes something wicked every weekend, plus they go out to eat every Sunday.
I just looked at him and stated firmly, “YES! I am different. I will not eat what you all eat.” And then we went to the market to buy lunch. My lunch selection was so YUMMI, I had to take a pic of it! (below)

After the we went to pick the babs up from my MILs, and he chose to have 2 pieces of fried chicken, baked beans, and a huge slice of orange pumpkin shaped cake she had made on Saturday.
He asked if I wanted a piece of the chicken. I said, “Is it fried?” He replied, “Yes, but you can take the skin off.” Me: “Nah, I’m going to pass. You can eat it.”
I chose a simple salad instead with a few bites of popcorn and a handful of mini M&Ms.

IDK why he chose to try to distract my efforts. Usually, he isn’t this bad. Maybe I was just being super sensitive about it.

Sunday’s Menu
FF Cheese Omelet, PB2 Oats: 350
2 Stuffed Portabella Mushroom Caps, 10 Blackened White Shrimp, Greek Yogurt: 609
Trail Mix, Small Salad, M&Ms, Popcorn: 462
Grapefruit: 40
Total: 1461

493
Water: 96 oz
