I felt this was a perfect post for many of us on this site who drive through life always looking in our rear-view mirrors and not at the road ahead...

Your shortcomings and disappointments are all in the past now. Complaining about them will not change one thing! They have nothing to do with what you can accomplish from this point forward.

It doesn’t matter what has happened before. For good or bad, the past has brought you to where you are. Right now the path splits off in an infinite number of directions. And you have the choice of which one to take.

Your past does not define who you are or what you can accomplish. You do.
