Sum38 Just be happy if that's all he does during a mid-life crisis... it's all perspective dear!

Diana3271 Hope the internet thing at works gets sorted out. Seems you've had a lot of technical difficulties to deal with at work recently - no fun. Did you ever get the phone situation resolved?

K9 Way to go on 3.2 pounds and on getting that run in at the end of the day! You rock! Have fun this weekend (despite needing to work 12 hours).

Jen You can do it with eating out. Breakfasts are fairly easy if you stay away from pancakes and potatoes - get scrambed eggs and bacon or something like that - it will fill you up for a long time and is super carb friendly. Have fun on your hike!

Maile Good luck with weigh-in today!

Mojojuju So happy for you and the job being ideal. A good environment is so important. I hear you on the part time job thing. I'm about to start back to the workforce after being out 8 years and I KNOW it's going to be weird - overqualified or underqualified because of my time out of the labor force. (I too have a Master's degree).

Mamakat Good job on sticking to the low cal side of the menu! You are doing great! So, did you manage to get out of the bra? Or did you get stuck? LOL

Berry Congrats on the 180's! Yep, I got the new phone installed last week. I had originally used a line that I had stored away instead of the one that came with the phone. The one that came with the phone was shorter and I was thinking I needed more line. Anyways, the longer cord was for a single phone line instead of a multi-phone line (like what we have). I got it figured out, though.

Berry, Congrats on getting out of the 190's!

I SO had hoped I would be out of the 180's by today, and ate very little yesterday, but we had a family dinner at my mom's house in celebration of my oldest son leaving for his first year of college in 11 days (not that I'm counting or anything ). I'm sure it was the rum and diet cokes that did me in. She made stuffed peppers and mashed potatoes and all I had was some meat and pepper. She even made me a meatball with no rice so I could stay low carb. And I passed on the key lime pie for 5 raspberries with whipped cream instead.

Guess I better get on the exercise plan now....Core SynergisticsX today.

Good Morning Everyone,

Berry on getting to the 180's what a success you are! I did get out of the bra, it was easier than I thought it would be. So pleased with it, I got another one when I returned the weird one.

Sum men are just as weird as women, but I think we have the patience to wait it out. My DH always made fun of men who drove big trucks. Well not to long ago he had to get one He used all sorts of excuses like: "it'll come in handy as we do home repairs", we never used it for that reason. He finally came to his senses during the gas crisis. So we traded in both are big vehicles for smaller ones, now that we don't need to "truck" around a lot of stuff with the kids. Sometimes we just have smile and nod then wait them out.

Krystal I'm proud of you. You said you would do it and you did. Awesome job.

Jen great job on the 3lbs down this week. I love hiking, we are planning a trip this Thursday to a new park. We'll be gone the entire day, so I'm thinking of things I can bring along this time. The fam. usually pigs out on crap food after the treks, but I don't have that luxury so I usually get a stick of cheese afterward, which doesn't cut it. But normally on our hikes it's fly-by-the-pants this time I have enough time to think about it. I hope you have a great time!

Diana I forgot to say yes, I do like the new MP3, it's small and the clip works wonderful. It came with ear buds and they actually stayed put. Normally I can't use ear buds because I have super small ears (the bane of my existence...everyone who sees them usually makes a comment, my family love to tease me because of them). They didn't stay put during floor exercise b/c gravity pulled them out, but I can always go back to headphones if it becomes too big of a deal.

Well I'm laid up today. My body has said it's had enough and it's needs a break. Yesterday I had to stand for 45 mins in one place, I'm an antsy person by nature so I bop a lot. About 6 years ago I had to be retrained on how to hold my body, everything must remain bent...even fingers. Well as I was bopping I kept locking (although mine don't lock they just keep going) my knees, which is a total no-no. And instead of giving my hip flexors a chance to recoup I did two days straight of bridge lifts (over extending both hips) so now I'm having trouble moving. It was a Vicodin night last night and it should be today, but I'm gonna try to muddle through with just bed rest and Ibuprofen. One thing is for sure, I'll have to rely on others for food and water as I can't make it down the stairs I'm wondering if I've learned my lesson....hmmm, somehow I don't think so. Once I forget the pain or the fact that I can hardly walk I'll be at it again...I love exercise!

I hope you all have a great and healthy day.

Gee, thanks guys! Just a little TMI funny... I knew I needed to use the bathroom this morning, but unlike my husband, I NEVER can go first thing in the morning. Well, I just went (after breakfast) and I weighed myself... I'm still under 190s... so I think it will stick for tomorrow now that my gut is cleaned out a bit! LOL

Hello thread, it was suggested I join and accountability thread and I agree, so here goes:

Today I had 3 links (one serving) of lean turkey sausage and a handful of thawed frozen no sugar added strawberries and mangoes. Trying to drink some water today.

Really hoping to get 30 minutes of walking in on my lunch. I brought my shoes. If not, tonight HAS to be treadmill/weights night.

Grab your surfboards, kids cuz we're in for a WHOOOOOOOSH!!!!!!!!

Down a SHOCKING 2.2 this morning to 182.8!!! That is a FULL POUND below my low!!

The carnival with Maxwell yesterday was so fun. It wasn't much of a carnival, but they had a magician and the kids did a tae kwondo demonstration. I was glad to be there. Maxwell was super happy. Half day at work today! Going shopping for the outfit for my friends wedding today. Maybe the scale knew that? LOL Needless to say, I am in a great headspace to shop today!

Anyway, I'm taking it and I am RUNNING!!!

I'll check back this afternoon.
