So I have been a silent member long enough....time to take control of my life and lose weight. I now know it will be a long journey, one that I will take day by day, pound by pound. Looking forward to sharing my goals with everyone

I'm at a better starting point since I didn't gain it all back yet.
I quit smoking cold turkey in Nov 2011.
I'm still trying so I can't say I've failed.

welcome - I find that making sure I check every day is a big help. I also love joining challenges to push myself to stay on plan and see the weight loss build over time.

If you haven't been there yet, check out the 100 lb clup http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/100-lb-club-55/ - for people trying to lose 100 lbs (or get from the 200s into Onederland) It's a great and very inspiring group of people who support each other to achieve these goals.
