Default Heart Rate increases when eat food.

I am on my weight loss program since 1.5 months now.
everything was okay in first 2-3 weeks but now I am facing a problem.
now i do not feel hungry anymore.. i can go whole day without eating.

My problem is whenever I eat now (no matter how less or more) my heart rate increases as I have been running. I literally pants sometimes..
this driving me crazy..

I am scared why is this happening to me? any body who has gone on low calorie diet faced same issue or is it just me??

please advice.

I think you need to see a doctor.

You can go a whole day without eating? That isn't normal. Are you taking pills? There are many dangerous ones out there and heart racing is not a good thing.

First of all, you should not go a whole day without eating. Many people find it helpful to schedule their eating times and amounts so that they make sure they eat.

Second, it sounds like eating is causing you anxiety. It could be that not eating is making your body go into a panic when you do eat. Again, making sure you eat at regular times may help this.

Another possibility is that you are over-eating carbohydrates. Too much refined carbohydrates in one meal raises my heart rate.

But I would suggest you see a doctor and tell him or her about what is happening--both the not eating and the heart rate when you do eat.

yes I know not eating whole day is not a good habit and i do not do that.

I take meal at a regular time daily as I am working and have to sit 8 hours at my desk so i just stop eating carbs and fat and also i reduced my calorie intake.

I am not taking any pills.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I also think I should consult a doctor.
