Here is what I have so far for a new plan. Please keep in mind that I am on a very tight budget right now so joining a gym or organized activity is out of the question at this time. I also don't drive so I have to find local things to do. This does work in my favor because we walk or bike everywhere in my city so I already get a fair amount of exercise on an average day. I also tend to get overwhelmed and panicked by the thought of having to MAKE myself do a formal workout so I prefer outdoor walking or a casual plan.
New calorie counting site : myfitnesspal.com
New calorie allotment: 1200 - 1350
Exercise:
- brisk outdoor walking 3 times a week for 45 mins (3.5 miles)
- strength training twice a week
- possible cardio workout video 1-2 times a week
Diet:
- cut out all of the refined sugars..once again
- continue with my usual diet plan during the day
- ***finally beat the night time eating*** This is my downfall!
- stop seeking desert after dinner, no matter how small
Eating after dinner is, by far, my toughest battle I am going to have to face. Even throughout my weight loss, I still ate at night but I just skipped breakfast so I could do it. I ate an entire bag of chips every night as a child, then progressed to dinner size portions as an adult. I need to break this cycle. It just has to stop, somehow.
I feel like a newbie coming here for advice LOL. I should be giving the advice as this is all old hat to me . I guess everyone falls sometimes. I have chosen to get back up. Getting fat again is NOT an option!
Any suggestions or encouragement
