Well hello ENNAY....good to see you again!

MINDY I hope you got those walks in.

JEN, BRAT and TOOBIG I hope all is well.

I have not been walking as one of our goldens just had knee surgery and will not be able to for 60-90 days. Of course our other dog needs walked and have got a couple in but for this first week I have had to "puppy-sit". She is doing better but will be way restricted for almost 3 months...don't want to blow the recovery...not cheap...almost 3 Grand!!...yep...OUCH!!!

Weight still NASTY!! But still holding on to the 195-197....really need to get down 10-15...really.....

Beer intake down...except this past week-end when out of state friends stayed here...they don't drink so I can't blame it on them!!!...baloney! I can if I want!!!...lol

Still eating alot of veggies and trying new dishes with different veggies Angie is whipping up.

That GRANDdaughter is still as cute as ever!

What we do for our 4 legged family members!!! Right Gary??? Good luck on the recovery. My parents stopped in last night and had to remind me how old my big boy is getting. DIdn't really need that reminder.

180.2 today. Seriously???? just a few ounces and I would be in the 170's. Come on...I can do it.

Jogged 3 mile last night...THE WHOLE THING!!! Dang!!!

HI TEAM

Yes MINDY still here...just not losing or doing much about it.

Well, actually I am doing some stuff!

I cut out all alcohol for 2 weeks to see if that helps with the weight...I actually gained a pound to 196 as of today.

However, due to circumstances we have eaten out way more than normal...as in fast food "type"....Rubios, the mom/pop pizza joint on the corner and the mom/pop taco shop just up from there.

That is all from lack of planning with Angie back to work, me working part-time and full time on any given day....slow but not out of work for me. Babysitting that GRANDkid or visiting her....

mam oh man can I come up with the baloney

On the other hand I have been eating real well in between my disasters (which actually is pretty much lunches and does not include Angie )...we have had a ton and a half of all veggie dishes lately...although on the not so good front for me...cheese has become more of staple of some of our meals....working on that!

Also, I am not getting my walks in as I have been sitting with my Reba as she recovers from her knee surgery....Angie takes Rylee out for her walks since I have been working and she is back to teaching...Ang needs those afternoon walks too for her exercise...she says all her yoga just doesn't get it done ...and boy does she do a ton of yoga!

Keep it going gals....we need each other....have a great Labor Day Week-end and....

Nope Jen ~ My granddaughter was the product of my son and daughter in law...

the new kid is the product of my daughter and the kidnapper....(although some refer to him as my son in law)....

Well I am down a little to 193.8 this morning...been a while since I have seen that number so things must be working a little at least.

I can't say that my eating has been great but pretty good. Of course Labor Day pretty well was a bust with all those chips/burgers/hot dogs/potato and macaroni salads.....and those dang leftovers!

We did kill all the leftovers last night with our major power outage though...campin' style

Maybe I should give a smiley face for all the days I have gone without beer in a row

HI TEAM

Well I am still at 193.8

That may change as the calories from yesterday's 911 Remembrance and BBQ at church take hold

I did burn off some calories working the event, set up and clean up though. My eating was decent...not great but decent.

However I need to change my days in a row w/o beer. Of course I couldn't have just one I had to have 5....dang!

Then another 2 when I got home...double dang!

Gary- So what do you call a kidnappers baby??? Congrats on the new one. I am not in that mode yet...It can wait a while.

I am trying to get used to my school work life and of course the new marriage thing. Life gets crazy at times.

Weight has been holding around 177-179. That ugly thing called menopause is rearing its head and messing with stuff. If TOM would only get here and leave I think I could lose a few. I held at this point for about a year. If I could only break through.....

Well the Viking Fest was a blast as usual.

I did drink some beer...too many of course! And I did have a polska kielbasa and some herring....too many calories of course.....but a fun day.

Back on the beer and food wagon today though....so weired watching football w/o beer....lol

OKTOBERFEST today...beer and sausage = calories....

Oh, I planned it...not into my calorie count mind you...I just planned to drink and eat in my head before we even went...lots of fun....

good to take time for yourself sometimes...not so good to over do it...

I didn't on the food but maybe a few too many beers than I needed/wanted...wink

but, I was good all week on the brew!
