Not sure which ti trust, scale or Wii Fit??
So, I made a post yesterday about my scale being wonky and sometimes having fluctuations. Today I decided to use my Wii Fit to weigh myself, and since it weighs in Kilograms, to then convert it to pounds.
My Wii weighs me in at 259.9lbs my scale weighs me in at 267.4lbs I don't know which to trust now....AHHHH
Which weight would you go with?

Oh definitely the lower!
Really, I don't think it matters much. Pick one and stick to it. If your wii is on carpet, that might affect things, but I seem to remember mine being pretty accurate anyway.
Hmmm, it's been forever since I did anything with the wii fit. Maybe I'll get on it tonight.

Awwwww bummer, my Balance Board is on the carpet, that could account for the difference. Of course the batteries are dead in it. I am looking for new ones, and will update once I know how it preforms on hard floor. I bet it's not good news!

The Wii Fit board comes with extender feet so you can get it up higher on carpet and get a more accurate reading.

Yeah...that sucked...lol
My Wii puts me at 264.6 and my scale puts me at 267.0 only 2.5lb difference. BLAH! I liked the 7lbs better!

I would stick with the lower one for now. It will motivate you and as long as the trend is downwards... When you are close to goal weight it is probably something to think about but now I would stick to the wii. Consistency is the key!

Thank you for reminding me about the wii! Why had I forgotten this?! I'd still rather go for a walk or bike ride, but it's perfect for when I can't! So much more fun than riding the exercise bike in my dreary basement. Probably not as much exercise, but movement is my goal for now, and that counts.

I use the Wii-Fit as the 'true' weight since it records the weight on the chart. It usually is about .5-1 pound heavier than my scale. I use the home scale to determine if I had lost enough to weigh-in on the Wii. I hate seeing that graph go up, lol. I also like being able to see my progress and go back and see how far I have come. Just make sure to use the risers if weighing on carpet. It was off by 10 pounds (in my favor ) without them.
