What's up with the bag boys at the grocery store? I have had 3 different ones at 3 different stores, in the last month compliment me on my hair. It's almost making me paranoid. Does my hair look funny?

We ran into a customer at a restaurant. I have never seen him, DH has, but I have only spoken with him by phone. He thought I was DH's daughter. When we left DH asked me to repeat what he said. DH was not happy.

When we went to eat for Mother's Day. They charged us for 2 Sr and one regular. DH didn't like that at all, even though it was a reduced price. I told him they thought he was my Mom's DH and I was their daughter. He was not amused at all.

When I went to try on the swimsuit the other day, the SA was walking out of the dressing room to get some swimsuits for me to try on. She said, I am going to the Jr's dept, I will be right back. (Jr's dept? ) She turned and looked at me. I guess I looked shocked. She then asked me "Are you over 30?" I said 'yes ma'am, I am well over 30, I am firmly planted in the 40's'. She then said 'you look good, real good'. This one really made me feel good.

Yesterday, I went to the mall to try on a new foundation. I know the manager at the cosmetics counter. They were putting makeup on me. I told them that I didn't want them to use eyeshadow with shimmer on me. They said that I could use whatever I wanted because I don't have any lines on my face. Then a woman came by. She came up close to me and said "your face looks as smooth and soft as a baby's bottom". I guess that's a compliment.

I love to get Starbuck's coffee on Saturday. The Barista there wanted to let me know that he was being transferred to another location. He told me which one. He knows what I want and starts fixing it as soon as he sees me so I don't have to wait. He mentioned about him being transferred out loud. It was really embarrassing. I'm a married woman! Him being transferred is no business of mine.
Ah Diana, thanks for sharing that!!! It's great! And maybe that will get your husband to get his act together with his health?

And I know, especially in your case, it's the fitness level too that makes the difference. Fit people look healthier and younger. And skin shows bad health - You must be uber healthy! Those comments made me smile for you!

Thank you. It's just so weird to get those compliments and the looks. I don't feel comfortable talking with others about it. I am so glad that we can share this stuff on here. We all understand what the others here have gone through. We've got our own mini therapy sessions going on here.

I even noticed with your pictures, and commented about it, that you look younger since you've lost weight. The difference is amazing.

Here's the new check-in for the next two weeks. If we hit the 500 mark, we can always start a new one.

I hope to see some of the regulars that haven't checked in, in a while.
Check in and let us know how you are doing. I know you are busy. You don't have to do personals every day. I want to make sure you are OK.
