I have actually been wondering if anyone else gets rashes and bad odors under the belly flap. I also wonder whether, if I'm getting rashes (crotch rot), no matter what I do, including drying with a hair dryer and then using Gold Bond powder, I might be able to get the belly flap removal covered by insurance....

Have you tried diaper rash cream for babies? Powder is not as good but diaper rash cream should help you. I haven't tried it myself on my belly but I did use it once on my inner thights and it was wonderful!
