You need to try a different fit of pant. You can also try shirts that hit at the lower part of your hip - nothing huge and oversized but something that hits a little lower.
Find the right fit of pant and length of top, you can cover up most of this and no one will ever know.
I know you didn't care for the body shaper, but there are a million different kinds. Spanx makes a great tank and a higher control top panty that goes a little higher so there would be some overlap. As someone else mentioned, they're not super tight, they're just firm support and a smoother line under your clothes.
I was HUGE when I had my daughter (I stopped looking at the scale at a certain point) and lost 40 pounds in the four days I was in the hospital with her. I quickly lost another 40 in about four weeks at home. Trust me, I know from pooch. Even at my size, I eventually found the right pant and top length combo to cover it up without looking like I was hiding in a sack. It is a PAIN (I hate shopping), but you can do it!
