Default have you been to this site?

Mybodygallery.com

It shows what different women look like at certain heights and weights. There are so many variances, it truly shocking. I know that we are all biult differently, I just wish there was a guarentee that you would be a specific size at a certain weight. I know its about health, not vanity, but it would be nice to know that 20 pounds from now I still wont be a 14.

No guarantees, but I suspect that 20 lbs less you won't be a 14.

Where is your weight distributed to? In your belly? Even if that's the case, at some point, your body is going to have to take fat from your belly and your size will go down.

Yes, I've been to this site before. I feel the same about it as you do.....especially since I'm very bottom heavy. I guess there's nothing to do but just keep losing and seeing where we end up. I've lost and gained weight many times and it amazes me that my body may be the same weight as before and I may not fit into something that used to fit me at that weight. So even with our own bodies, there could be variations over time. Hang in there and thanks for reminding me about this site.

I have huge thighs, and my tummy is quite mushy. My calf and arms look thinner, its just a rectangle part of me that stays the same.

Oddly, I'm just the opposite right now. I am about 150 and I can fit in a shirt that used to only fit me at 135.

In fact, I remember hitting 140 and not being able to button it. Now it fits okay, not loose, but okay.

Kindof odd, because my boobs are actually bigger now, but I think my frame is smaller. I guess from working out.

We'll I entered my info and the chick who came up had exactly the same body as me said she was hour glass shaped which is weird because my chest is far smaller then my hips. Wish there was a way to see the same person smaller so I would be able to tell when the sizes should drop rather then guess. XD

I'm pretty similar. My weight distribution is very different down even thought I'm close to my highest prepregnancy weight but above it (ok, I'm pregnant too bue even despite that since it's early still). Anyways, the pants that I used to wear at that weight are HUGE on my butt/thights but tight on my waist. Before they used to be tight everywhere when I was at a smaller weight.

This time around I'm carrying more in my stomach (even before getting pregnant) and losing a lot more in my butt/thighs/face first. I sure wished my arms/stomach would've gone down faster but they were pretty stubborn. Once I start loosing again after this baby comes I have a feeling my stomach will be even more stubborn!

It's funny, I wnt to the site and entered my information and they couldn't find anyone that matched me. I guess I'm not surprised. I weigh a lot more than I look at 209 lbs and a size 14 pants.

This site is actually making me want to lower my goal down to 110lbs now that I'm looking at other 5'2 hourglasses at 125. I guess I'll see how my body looks at goal and lower until I'm happy.

nickyj don't get too discouraged! i'm almost 5'6", i currently weigh 201 (i know i have to adjust my ticker...but at least i'm down 6 lbs from two weeks ago! so i guess my current goal is my ticker lol) anywho, i am a size 12...so it really really does depend. clothes sizes vary so dang much too, but i went to TJ Maxx and got some "fat jeans" a couple of months ago (i used to be an 8), and those were the ones that fit me best. my goal is to get back into the single digit sizes!!

That is interesting. At my weight/height/clothing sizes, there was no one that matched me. I dropped the weight 30 lbs and there was someone and I'd say they looked quite similar to my size.

You know what I like about this site is that the biggest difference I see isn't in the different weights of other women my height, but in the ways they dress their shapes. Some of the clothing choices are muuuuuuch more flattering than others, which gives me hope that even if I don't look the way I picture myself looking at goal, I can at least cover any flaws with good clothing choices

Just put in my stats (5'9", 210lbs, 16 pants, XL shirt) and the one picture that came up is a girl who looks GREAT. She's hourglass and I think I'm an apple. I hoped to get some perspective but I just feel a little bit annoyed at my own genetics at the moment.
