No weight change on my first weekly weigh-in. My friends have started commenting that my legs look smaller/more toned (I've been working out for two weeks) ... but I was hoping for SOME loss for encouragement!

WOW! I love how busy our little thread has gotten!

Thanks for the kind words, kids. The Boy (who's 7) was sound asleep within 30 minutes of my post. Thankfully. And MUCH to my surprise, he was not a jerk this morning but a very nice little man who even apologized for his behavior last night. (insert my heart MELTING here!!!)

The scale was nice to me this morning too! Down 1.6 to 217.2

I almost thanked my scale this morning!

No joyous celebrations here. Then again, I've only been back on plan since the 23rd. I'll just be glad to get back to my early October weight. 20 lbs shouldn't take *that* long.

We certainly ARE a chatty bunch, huh? LOL

I haven't weighed in yet, but I plan on doing some Wii and I'll have to weigh in for that. I've already eaten breakfast and had coffee and water, so I'm going to try not to be *too* upset with the number, especially considering dinner last night.

I realized I have exactly 6 weeks and 4 days until my 29th b-day. I am not going to make the 130's goal I set in October, obviously. I'll be happy to be well within the 140's though.

I'll be on later to post my weigh in.

Morning Ladies! So happy I found you We certainly talk a lot.

Well...I believe something is wrong with my scale. Saturday...191. Sunday...190.4. Monday...194.4. Tuesday...194.6. I put both of my 5 lb weights on the scale. It said 10.6. Then each of my weights seperately said 5.6. So, shouldn't both be 11.2?? Then I got on the scale again. It said 193.8.

Lindsay-I have the Conair Weight Watcher scale. I think it was you yesterday that asked if I recalibrated it. (I don't know how to even do it.) Maybe the batteries are low? I have had the scale for probably 6 years and no battery change.

Anybody have a good recommendation for a reliable scale that is in the $20 price range?

I have been on plan and working out consistently. This scale nightmare is making me nuts.

Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!

Yanno, I really didn't expect this much of a gain. I know I haven't been 100% on plan, but geez... I weighed in at 157.6lbs. My house scales weighed me at 158.2. EEEEK!!!

So I have at LEAST 7lbs to lose before my birthday to even be in the 140's. I'm trying not to let myself freak out. Freak outs lead to binging... binging leads to weight gain, so I'm really really trying not to flip out...

Diana - Hahahaha! Always making me laugh

LLBold - Ditto to that! I would love to see something come off!

Vixsin - That's cute that your DH apologized Great job on that 1.6lb loss!

Diana(LA) - Wow 2lbs down for the week, awesome job!

AZ - Hi and Welcome I know you can kick that 20lbs ***!

Arty - Hi and Welcome to you too Good intentions is where it all starts!

Kayla - Hellooooooooooo Have a good day!

Pint - We def. are a chatty bunch and I can't believe they closed us down!!!!!! But rules are rules I guess... you think maybe that was a record for most posts over the regular allowed amount?? Sorry about your weigh but try not to freak out too much, you have done so well so don't let a little gain de-rail you! You can get in the 140's by your b'day!

novel - I have that weight watchers scale too and I find it very odd. It can give me different weights each time I step on in a row.

Argggh... TOM is here this week and I am not happy about it. Not only that, but my back is achy even after my physios sessions and I also have this weird rash all over my tummy, chest and neck. I don't know what's going on but I think my body may be breaking down... Ever since I have been back from vacation things have not been right... and I really just don't knwo what to do about it.

I'm in a serious funk right now...

Here is my plan for the day Tues 1/25/2011

B - Homemade tofu breakfast scramble + 2 slices whole wheat bread w/ earth balance + 1 banana

S - 1.5oz dry-roasted almonds

L - Red raddish tabbolueh w/ hummus and hot sauce + garden salad of mixed greens, grape tomatoes, soy cheese and italian dressing

S - 1 Apple

D - Tofu cutlets (2 small ones) + mashed potaoes + green beans

Drinking: At least 2 cups green tea + At least 2L water

Have a happy, healthy and OP day

Diana – Thanks for starting a new thread, I almost panicked when I saw the original was closed!

Shells – YAY for the new low!

LLBold – I hear ya, BUT if you can tell a difference in two weeks of working out that is an awesome NSV!

Vixsin – Great job on that 1.6lb loss!

Diana(LA) – Yay for the 2lbs down for the week! Great work!

AZ and Arty –

Pint – Awww, don’t freak out! Just stay focused and you’ll get into the 140s very soon!

Novel – I have an EatSmart scale, it ran me about $30 on amazon. It’s very accurate. I can get on 3, 4, 5, times and it gives me the same weight. I was having the troubles you were having with my old scale and was getting super frustrated. Here’s the link if you’re interested: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ms_ohs_product

Lauren – Sorry about TOM! He just left me…ughhhh, I always dread him!

I guess I'll post all in one since apparently there is a limit!

Weight: 149.4! -0.6 from yesterday. TOM is gone! I REALLY want to see 148 something by the end of the weekend!

Here's the plan for today...
B – strawberry oatmeal w/milk 180, banana 100 (280)
S – ½ c. cottage cheese 90
L – PB sandwich 240, mixed fruit cup 70 (310)
S – popcorn 100
D – homemade pizza with mozzerella and turkey pepperoni 500
1290
Combo w/abs, chest & legs Lunge --> w/ Military Shoulder Press, Side Lunge with Anterior Should Raise, Static Lunge with Lateral Shoulder Raise, Sumo Squats with Tricep Extension, Surrenders, Crunches 25, Reverse crunches 25, Side plank w/inner-thigh raise 10 each side, Extended plank Hold 30 seconds x 2, Cross-Over Lunges w/Hammer Curls, Forward Lunges, Pelvic Thrust, Squats, Dumbbell Chest Press, Dumbbell Chest Flys (20 EACH)

Ok, and I just have to share this because I thought it was hilarious. When we go grocery shopping DH is always on the look out for me buying "healthier" stuff, i.e. reduced fat, fat free stuff. Sometime last week we had homemade calzones using that turkey pepperoni..when I was making them, he was helping and he's grabs the little bag of pepperoni and goes "Awww, you had to get the turkey pepperoni?! These things don't even look real!" I told him to try one and zip it, lol...so he does..."Hey those are pretty good, give me another one." I always tease him about being scared of "healthier" foods! THIS is the same man who explained to me last night the reason he went on a 3 mile run, was so he could come home and eat ice cream and chips and not gain weight. WHAT? *facepalm* Yes, I live with this man...his ideas of things are wild sometimes! But, I love him.
