Today was a pretty good day for me. I did my brisk walk at the mall - I mall walk 4-5 days per week for 25-30 minutes. That is walking, not shopping !
Then I did shop, does that count as exercise?
I have consumed an ocean of water and a farmfull of veggies. The temptations abound this time of year, but as gigglez said, you have to throw them out. January 1, 2003 is coming, how will it find me? Healthy, I hope.
Everyone, stick with doing what you know you should be doing.
Weighed in today and believe it or not still the same. I guess that it is good seeing how I am on meds that can cause weight gain. Plus I have to take a pain med that you have to eat with so I can say that so far I am happy. JOJO I think that 2003 will find we more motivated.
You are absolutely right, gigglez, that 2003 will find us more motivated. Any time is a good time to restart. Any day is a good day to begin again. But the new year will absolutely be a great time to make all those resolutions regarding healthy eating, exercise, staying positive, eating vegetables, and drinking those gallons of water.
I am doing OK through the Christmas season. Wonder where all the other "Lites" are? Did they all blink out on us???
Who knows JOJO maybe there fuses when out or there blubs have blown. Glad that you are doing alright thru this season. Keep it up. I am struggling each day but without there struggle you wonder if it was even worth.
I'm just bumping this thread up to the top again in hopes of finding our fellow "Christmas Lites."
This is a lovely time of the year to let our "lites" shine. Are you all sharing in the joys of the season? There's lots of wonderful music to sing and to listen to, the family and friends are sharing greetings and wrapping gifts, churches are aglow with the remembrances of a special baby, and love is all around. Christmas is new every year, and I for one am enjoying it.
A very Merry Christmas to everyone. May your Christmas be a wonderful one,
may it meet all your expectations, and may we all get through the day without major eating problems.
