Default Decided to start this journey with a mini-goal...

This is my mini-goal...

For the next week (Sun. Mon. Tues. Wed. Thurs. Fri. and Sat.)

1. NO pop
2. NO slushies (my MAJOR stumbling block)
3. NO eating out
4. walk for at least 20 mins every day.

I think I need to start with baby steps for now.

I like the idea of baby steps also. that's what I'm trying to do.

Well I've managed to stick with my mini-goals this week! I'm quite proud of myself...it definitely wasn't easy. I also added in some weight training as well and I'm feeling pretty good. I've also being really watchful about what I've been eating in terms of portions and types of foods. I've decided that Saturdays will be my 'reward day' so I'm looking forward to a small slushie today I am however going to still do my working out...and maybe add a little extra to make up for the slushie.

Saturdays will also be my weigh-in day. I weighed myself when I go up today and I'm down 6 lbs!!! I'm not expecting that much of a loss every week because I think that had a lot to do with giving up the slushies and pop but it sure was a nice start to my journey. So I think I will keep up with this program for next week as well and then decide if I still think it is working well for me or if it needs tweaking.

Have a fabulous day everyone!
