Default I'm doing something right

Okay, after my post last night about being discouraged about 3 years to lose 20 pounds I feel pretty good.

I took my 2 yo DD to gymnastics. After class we usually have a snack before our next activity. When I asked what she wanted for a snack she said "Banana!" and then "Carrots!" not donuts, or ice cream, pizza, burger, or taco, nor soda/candy.

AND yesterday when given the choice of what they wanted to do activity wise both of the kids picked draw a picture and ride bikes (rather than television or video games).

Yay! I'm not a perfect role model (because I sometimes give in at the checkout for a small piece of candy), but it looks like I'm a decent one!

When I was their age and older the normal snack or lunch for us kids was a little Debbie cake and soda or burgers, fries, and a soda. YAY for braking cycles!!

That's so awesome! I've tried hard to make my kids the same way. Everyone laughs at me when I complain that they won't get out of the fruit.
