You were accountable for your "tastes" and you stopped yourself from eating more. If you're anything like me, simply having the control to stop at a couple of spoons and to run water over the remainder is cause to be proud!
I can empathize with you; right now my house smells so freaking good
from the stuff I've been cooking that I just want to eat and eat! Thank goodness for raw veggies and hummus to keep the "munch" reflex quiet; I'm glad I have so many healthful non-holiday-related options on hand.
