  • Stealing JoJo's thread idea, I'm going to try for 13lbs in 7 weeks (hey, two of my favorite numbers!) - which will put me at 235 for New Year's. I figured I wanted to shoot for about 2lbs per week, instead of 1.

  • I wouldn't mind joining you..but i do my weigh ins on thursdays. My goal for christmas was 140. so this is pretty close to that. 2lbs a week!

  • I would love to do the same but my body hates me apparently. I go several weeks at 2-2.5 lbs weight lost then a period of two/three weeks with nothing :-(. Buuttt! Aim high huh? (my weight in's are Sundays)

    Not sure how I still dropped 2 lbs, since it was over Thanksgiving break. I did well on Thanksgiving and stuck to my plan, but my mom had a second Thanksgiving dinner on Friday, since some of the family couldn't make it on Thursday, and I did not stick to any sort of plan on Friday. Whatever - I'll take it!

    didn't exactly reach my goal :-( i've been lazy, haven't been working out and been eating bread like theres no tomorrow..hopefully i will do better next week

  • hey! thanks...
    so i lost some more weight..yay! not enough to match my goal yet but a decrease i'm happy about. I may have totally undone it with my weekend partying though lol. hopefully for the next weigh i'll at least still be the same. So im thinking..i'm not going to reach my new years goal and it may need to be adjusted. If i can be 140 by then i'll be happy but i'm going to keep my original goals on here..even though i KNOW there is no way i'll loose almost 4lbs in one week.

    I didn't get the 2 lbs I'm going for, but if I get 2 lbs/week for the rest of the month, I'd still make the goal. And I know I can do better than I have this past week or so.
  • Hang in there! It's a tough time of year, but it can be done. And you've done so well so far--that's the best part! Just make sure you get a good mix of nutritious foods.

  • I'm doing horribly :-(..so yeah i dont think i'm going to reach my goal. I'm REALLY upset..i want to to get out of the 140s by the end of the year so i'm really disappointed in myself. But i have no one to blame but myself I haven't been eating right or working out. I just hope to loose SOME weight before the new year. I've only lost 5lbs..so there is no way i'll loose 9 lbs in two weeks unless i just don't eat. I'm realistically going to aim for 3 more lbs by the end of the year and hope to meet that goal.
