I'm new to this site, and as the title suggests, I want support.
(And ofcourse I am willing to give.)
I'm 16, weight 222, 5.9" tall, luckly, I don't look that chubby somehow.
Fun Fact: I'm mexican.
My goal is around 150-160 pounds, I'm going to start tomorrow.
So I'd love some advice, or maybe your own story so I can build strength
for mine. Thanks in advance.
Welcome to 3FCs! There are lots of different "rooms" here for different topics. Explore the site and jump right in! Congrats on making the decision to become healthier
I wish you luck in the beginning of your journey! I wish I had made the decision to get serious about weight loss when I was your age (I'm 33 now). Learning to eat properly and exercise now is the best gift you will ever give yourself. I'll be here rooting for you all the way!
Bienvenido It's so great that you're starting to lose weight, I wish you the best of luck! I do calorie counting and that's worked great for me. I use about.com's Calorie Count, which also helps to make sure you're getting all the vitamins/minerals you need, tells you if you're consuming too much sodium, your carb/fat/protein ratio, etc. I watch the ratios and sodium intake now, but when I first started, I just did calorie counting and that was enough for awhile. Mostly you just need to experiment with different things and see what works for you.
