Default How long do you bounce around until you actually lose 1lb?

Oct 12 173
Oct 13 174
Oct 14 172.8
Oct 15 173.8
Oct 16 172.8
Oct 17 172.8
Oct 18 173

I know I can't expect miracles in a week but I want to get to 171/170 soooo bad I'm going crazy.

I have weeks like that, where there's just bouncing and fluctuating and no new low. Sometimes it lasts two or even three weeks, before a whoosh of 2-3 pounds. (And sometimes that whoosh is followed by a small bounceback! )

You'll get to know your body's patterns if you weigh every day for a long time. Trust your plan - it's working! just give it time.

I guess since I went from 174 to 173 and 172 in a matter of days, I expected to see at least 171 before Monday. I guess I'll just have to keep trying, haha. Last time I stalled at 175, maybe I'm stalling again at 172. Oh well. As long as I'm not GAINING, I'm happ(ier).

Sometimes I get a whoosh but for the most part if I stick to plan I drop a pound or so a week with plenty of bouncing around before that. I stall a lot but changing the type of workouts usually helps a lot so does drinking a ton of water.

My weight used to fluctuate a lot (I was stuck in the 180s for two years!). Since I've virtually eliminated grains, I stay the same or lose slowly. I didn't even gain just before my period, when I used to gain up to 5 pounds.

Sodium (salt) intake can be responsible for a lot of bouncing around.

We have the same issue, down to the pound! I'm trying to get below 172 and I keep bouncing around just as you have been. It's SO FRUSTRATING!! Sorry, no advice, just know that you're not alone.

Same here--hovering just over 175 and have been for AGES. So frustrated!

Good luck!

I've been going through that as well

I just keep telling myself that if I stick to plan, it WILL eventually go down...

You guy will get it! I just did this morning. I was down to 171.6, really surprised. I'm expecting tomorrow to bounce right back up to 173 though, that seems to be the pattern, anyway.
