Thanks, everyone! I don't know what it is really. Like I said, I never really cared before. But now that I've gotten back to a weight where I feel superbly good about myself I'm really self-conscious about it and want to look cute when I'm leaving the gym. Guess it's time to get some darker colored shirts and just deal with it.

I am a serious sweater!

Seriously, I sweat more than all the women and most of the men. At first I was a bit disturbed by it but as I got used to working out and just forgetting what's going on around me — it just didn't matter anymore :] I always wear a gray top and dark bottoms. My shirt is always drenched wet before I'm even halfway done with my workout. My husband said it's kind of sexy to see a woman sweat, since it's just not seen that often. So I figure, right on then, I don't really care what anyone else thinks anyway!

There's a couple things you could do that might help just a little bit. Take a towel with you so you can blot yourself as you begin to sweat at the pores. Wear a darker shirt so the sweat isn't quite noticeable (gray is by far the worst colour you could possible sweat in!). You could wear a headband to help keep the sweat from running down your face too. But sweating and sweating A LOT is totally normal in a gym!

I think you can buy shirts that are supposed to be quick-dry and whisk away the sweat. I've heard they work pretty well.

But really, own it
