I have been working toward my goal only since July and I am trying to keep myself motivated - because I have a very long way to go.
I thought that I would share with you a few small NSVs:
1. I love waking up in the morning knowing that my clothes won't be too tight
and that I won't have to struggle to find something to fit.
2. I can fit more easily into the booths at The Cheesecake Factory! And - I
have never eaten cheesecake there! (Only salads - which are really yummy!)
I have gone there every week that I have been on program and I have lost
weight every week.
3. I can move and bend more easily.
4. When I am faced with a social situation where I might have to eat off
program, I actually find myself craving my program foods!
5. I am not ashamed when I go to the doctor - because I know that I have
taken positive steps to take care of myself.
6. My best NSV is joining 3FCs. This group is so fantastic and inspiring. You
all are so great - you really keep me going. Thank you for sharing your
stories, your advice and your support.

Jackie - Yes! We are at similar places!!! And yes - it does feel amazing!!!! It took me a really long time to get on the scale and face this - but I have been very happy ever since I started.

# 3 is my favorite! I've struggled with back problems for a long time and the first time I bent over and picked a towel up off the floor without trouble I nearly cried! The more I can move the more I want to move!!
Thanks so much for your post, Number 8!!! A big motivator for me to lose weight is to try to relieve my back aches. I also include back exercises in my work outs each week to try to keep myself flexible.
Congratulations on your latest victory! Whenever anyone has back problems, it really means a lot to be able to do things like picking up a towel without trouble.
I am hoping that the more I lose, the better I feel - because having a bad back is no fun at all!
I've started stretching daily I have a 15 minuet routine that focuses on my hips and back and I'll do it 1-3 times a day depending on when I get some free time.
It has hugely increased my mobility and comfort, especially in the mornings! I keep telling everyone I know to stretch more - it's so worth it
