Strenuous work or highly active: 2,695
Standing work: 2367 cals
Seated with some movement: 2148 cals
Seated all day: 1874 cals
I think the calories we burn outside of formal exercise make a huge difference. I have an 18-month-old son -- a trainer at my gym asked me today, "How many times do you lift him each day?" Oh, about a thousand! It adds up...
Edited: Ooops -- sorry, those numbers had my weight plugged in, so all the figures would be just a touch higher, but you get the idea of the difference...
