Going, going, gone!

  • I had a weigh-in day today, and I'll admit I was a little worried. I never ate off-plan, but ate a little too many calories (+100-200) a couple of days in a row last week because I am an emotional eater and was going through some significant family trouble. I balanced it with better eating for a few days after that, and I am glad I did because I lost another 7 lbs.! I was hoping for a 3-4 lbs. loss (I weigh myself twice a month), and was excited to see the scale show such improvement. I had been a little worried because of the (slight) overeating and not being able to go for my walks because it is has been 104 degrees every day for five days here. I've been swimming, but I don't feel like it is much exercise because I don't have any trouble breathing, don't feel warmer or feel like I am doing much of anything at all. At least it is fun!

    The swimming is more exercise than you think, and you obiously did well controlling how much you ate even while you were stressed. You should be very proud of yourself.
