Don't worry yourself over it. I'd rather have loose skin and be healthy than overweight and killing myself.

Ultimately, it comes down to genetics, age, how fast you put the weight on (not how fast you lose it), and the condition of your skin. Period.

I probably spend 5 minutes bemoaning my loose skin for every three hours I spend excitedly admiring my new normal(ish) body.

Seriously. The only reason you are so worried about loose skin is that you really can't imagine how damn good cute clothes--and a capable, competent body--feel. Trust me. I thought I knew, but I didn't.

Thanks everyone I took a look at the FAQ it was really helpfull I'm going to keep up with cardio and toning, and I know moisturiser doesn't really help but it can't hurt either so I'ma give that a blast too. I'm quitting smoking too, can't remember what the FAQ said about it but either way smoking is a bad habit and it won't help me at all during my weigh loss, especially seen as I'd get outta breath real easy when running and what not. I'm not so sure about the slow weight loss though :/ I tend to lose quite quick when I eat healthier and workout as much as I should, but whatever happens happens, and even if I have a little extra skin that I don't like I can always save up for a little tummy tuck :/ Think it's around £3000 here, but I guess it'll be worth it and if I feel comfortable enough with the little bit of skin I won't even have to worry I think I'll just be happy with being able to fit into a size 8
