I have been fighting the 200s for weeks now. I need some new thoughts on how to get under 200. I have been beating myself up the past two days and I did not want to go on my motorcycle trip this weekend and still be 200.
So tell me something new to try...foods, workouts, or just give me a good
I was stuck at 200 for a couple of months and almost gave up. Don't give up!!! It's almost like our bodies are fighting against going to a different level. You have already lost a lot of weight, so you must be doing the right things. Try to be patient and the pounds will start coming off again.
Are you keeping track of your calories? Perhaps some extra calories have "snuck in"?
Just think, if you give up, you'll NEVER get to Onederland.
Are you drinking enough water? If there's a miracle drug for weight loss, it's plain old H2O, so drink up!
Penny's right though--you've lost 42 pounds, so obviously you know what works. So get strict with yourself for a few days, pay closer attention to make sure you're not slipping, maybe mix up your exercise a bit, and, most importantly, KEEP GOING. You WILL get there, but you've got to keep working.
I have been getting about 128 oz of water a day...or so. I also have been eating about 1300 to 1800 cals a day. I dont know what else to do...I will try anything. But I WILL NOT GIVE UP! lol I want this bad!!!!!!
Oh no here's Susan and she's going to say .... what about protein? and are you lifting weights?
Sorry Leigh, I couldn't resist.
Honey, I'm sorry you're feeling down. Seriously tho', when was the last time you switched things up a bit? We'll help you.
It seems we always get stuck at the milestones, huh? I got stuck around 200 and then again at 193 (I was trying to get to 191 and officially out of the 'obese' category). What I've noticed is whenever I plateau, I 'tighten the belt' so to speak and start writing it down again, and I'll start losing again. Whatever you do, don't get frustrated and start eating like crazy and GAIN weight. I've done that too many times than I care to remember. It's better to maintain than to gain.
Since you said you've been eating 1300 to 1800 calories, try eating 1300 for a few days in a row, and that should get you losing again.
Have patience, you will get there. I did the same thing and never thought I'd see onederland but it finally happened and just kept going from there. When I was drinking as much water as you, I retained fluid and gained 2 lbs. that week. Not everybody's the same and 64 oz. is plenty for me.You have done great to lose 42 lbs. so know that you can do this. Be very careful of sodium. For me, the trick is, I still write everything down every day.

I have not been weight lifting this week...I will get back to that next week..just switching things up a bit......lol
