Default I was challenged at a luncheon today ....

Today husband and I went to his sister's teacher retirement luncheon. I surveyed the buffet table and was not happy to see a full table of fantastic desserts including my favorite: strawberry cheesecake! Before I went up to the buffet line, I had a little talk with myself about how I am now losing again and I don't want to blow my weekly weigh-in next Monday. I loaded up on the vegetables and skipped the rolls. I got out of line before I reached the dessert table.
In the past, this would not have happened. I am so glad I stayed strong!

I was so happy to see this being a positive experience. I clicked the title expecting "I selected veggies and healthy foods and my friends challenged me and got mad, so I ate a dozen rolls..."etc.

Congrats on standing your ground, even just against yourself
