TOOBIG that is wonderful. We have a large extended family here too...and for the most part we all get along just fine...all of us and all the in-laws...it sure helps in difficult times. Now lets focus on you for a change!

ELANAROSE Keep it up girl and she won't need to see you later!

TEAM ~Why does 3/4 of a large pepperoni pizza eaten over the course of dinner one night...lunch the next day and then a 1 piece snack...turn into a 2 pound gain that lasts all week and then some?

If you're not used to a lot of carbs after cutting them out for a while (Like I am), if you have some, they blow up like Macy's Thanksgiving Day balloons!!! Also, even being from the pizza capital of the USA, I know for a fact that pizza is LOADED with salt and some with oil. Also, the pepperoni is cured. They cure it with salt!!! If I were you, I'd try to find a good old Italian-style brick oven pizza place. The old, family owned ones are typically the best.

OK I've gained almost two pounds since yesterday.. No idea why.. I made some chocolate chip cookies but I only had three small ones. My husband hid the rest and took them to work today per my request. The cookies shouldn't be enough to make me gain almost 2 pounds in one day. Or is that it? Hmm.. I watched Losing it with Jillian last night and I sure could identify with that family last night. Funny every time I've watched it so far I have cried. I've not been feeling too hot these past two days. Neither has my husband. We're not sure if it's something in the air or if it's just the heat. Been taking some airborne and I feel a bit better today just tired.

Mtiger-WTG on the 5k!

Have a great day!

If you haven't had carbs in a while, it could be the fact that the carbs expand and your body is now like "Wait, what do I do with this???" It could also just be normal fluctuation.

the pizza mystery is an annoying one. Pasta and rice do the same thing to me. I think I might just be carb sensitive. Maybe you are too?

as far as the cookies go.. that has to be just water.

As for me... 172.2 this morning. It's too big of a drop for me to really believe. We shall see in the morning

I knew it was too good to be true. 172.4 this am. That seems more reasonable. Maybe I'll see 171 by Saturday. That would ROCK. Hope everyone has a good day!

Toobig-LOL. I'm afraid not.. Hope you enjoyed the pizza.

ElanaRose-Congrats on the half inch!

I'm a bit frazzled this week. Both of my dogs are sick with a parasite bug and it turns out my house is infested with some kind of parasitic bug. It cost me over $250 just to get one dog treated since we had to run tests and rule other things out first. The other dog is at the vet right now as we speak being treated as well. Hopefully he won't cost as much now that we know what it is. So cleaning my house from top to bottom and bug bombing it will be at the top of the chores today and this weekend. It's been a frustrating week. I had two major tests, two quizzes and on top of that I had 5 labs to do for my science class in 4 days. I went to Target yesterday and got bug bombs and while I was there just went ahead and grocery shopped. I was very proud of myself and what I got. I even bought greek yogurt. I have never tried it but I am going to. Since my girl's trip to Oklahoma City, I have been trying new things food wise. I even joined sparkpeople.com. They have a eating plan and it is eye opening to what I should be eating and buying at the store. It has been very helpful! Have a great day.

Some leader I am.....

Angie is teaching yoga tonight so I was on my own for dinner since she will be home late.

As she left she said what are you doing for dinner...I said I think I'll make a roast beef sandwich....she said she was just going to eat some fruit and some salad she made for this week-ends camping...

next thing I know the doorbell rings and a kid is standing there with a large pepperoni pizza...

Have no idea who called him.....baloney.....

What is wrong with me?

At least I ate only 1/2 and tossed it in the freezer for another time.

Worst part is we NEVER get pizza from a chain ...since we have a great mom and pop 1/2 mile away...they don't deliver and I already had 2 beers so no driving for me...I should have at least walked the dogs down there and back...

get with the program GARY....ahhhrrrgghhh
