Default Horrible Weekend

I had a very bad weekend food wise. It's the first time I've gone off plan in a month and I regret it so much. I weighed myself this morning and was up 5 lbs, and then continued to eat crappy. I'm scared to weigh myself in the morning.

On the bright side, I learned a couple things from this experience.
1. Eating unhealthy food makes me physically sick, and
2. I'm way happier OP than when I eat what I think will make me happy.

My bf even made the comment that I need to go back on my diet cause it makes me happy.

So I guess I'll be starting over fresh tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!

It took me a while to learn this too. It's like going off plan isn't even worth it because the food doesn't taste as good as the healthy food. I don't think I could ever give up eating broccoli everday and my delicious chicken. I felt icky after going off plan too before. So it's a good lesson to learn.

Next time you have cravings for junk food just remember this.

Good luck! I'll be right there with you. I, too, stepped on the scale this morning and discovered I'd gained 5 pounds (and it felt like I'd taken forever to lose them, too). It's so depressing. I can't wait until I get to the point you are where I feel better OP.
God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Yep, I went to a mothers day brunch today and while I didn't do too awful, I certainly didn't do great, but not as bad as I could have. I was nauseous after...I mean I really felt sick. Tomorrows a new day!

bad weekend for me too, after 5 weeks of being 'too good', so guess it was going to happen sooner or later. Trouble is i didn't overdo it in any particular meal so i didn't feel too full (therefore i didn't get that 'guilty' feeling) and unfortuately the naughty things tasted fantastic!!

So yes ezstep, understand completely.
Luckily for you, you didn't enjoy your lapse, so bottle that feeling in your brain and it should help you avoid it next time.

I'm totally off plan too this weekend too
Next week once i get back from visiting friends (for two nights) i plan to fully commit again.
i find I'm happier overall OP as well. If i eat to comfort myself then usaully feel even worse cause i have two things going wrong.

Thanks everyone for your support! I weighed myself this morning and was 2 lbs less than yesterday - phew. It helps that my bf is finally "with me" on this. In the past, I always felt like he was trying to get me off my diet. I'm confident that by the end of the week those 3 lbs will be gone and I have learned an important lesson.I hope you all have a fab day!

I didn't have the greatest weekend foodwise either. But, today is a new day!
