I gave up sugar for Lent, and I thought it would be hard. The only thing that kept me from added sugar was knowing I could have fruit. It does satisfy my sweet tooth. If I were you I would have on hand some of your favorite fruit. Since I gave up sugar for for Lent, technically tomorrow I am allowed to have added sugars again, but I have no desire to re-introduce them. My tastes really have changed. I am sure yours will too. Plus, I have a couple of vegan friends who do make sweets. I am sure you can google it and find some healthy sweet vegan-friendly recipes .
