Default Water weight...

Can really get you down. It has to be water because tom has played havoc on me this month. It's been 8 days straight.... oh, hubby told me not to get on the scale and I didn't listen... 2lbs heavier... I feel like a big blob... I have not cheated, I have stayed going to the gym and zumba, it has to be water right?

Most likely, yes. Besides, if your weight fluctuates by a pound or two, you're supposed to ignore it. There are so many factors when you weigh in, two pounds is almost irrelevant. But I know your frustration. When you're trying to lose weight and fight to death to lose a pound or two, just to see it go up two, it's really depressing. Try to stay focused on the bigger picture and don't let it bother you too much.

Thanks for the advice. I understand about ignoring but its so hard when you watch every pound. Thats part of my problem I need to quit weighing myself everyday because that is just a let down also.

I vote for wait a week and then weigh yourself. Keep doing the right things and you know you will go the right direction. You have my permission to remind my of my own words when needed!

I just made a thread about this type of thing. You should take a look and then think about what you would tell me. Then look in the mirror and tell it to yourself

I'm dealing w/the same slight gain right now, and I know for sure that it's just the water weight from TOM. I'm just taking it in stride because it will be gone in a few days.
