I am proud of myself because...

- I am finally taking control of my life. In ALL areas, not just my body. I am taking care of my house (which used to be a pig sty), I am fixing my marriage (which was in a slump because of MY low self esteem), I am mending relationships with my "perfect" sister (who doesn't seem so perfect anymore, and towards whom I am no longer resentful)

- I have changed my outlook on life. I refuse to be the Debbie Downer ever again! I am going to be positive and encouraging to myself and others.

I love this feel-good thread!

I am proud of myself because I have been getting up at 5am every weekday morning to go exercise (and as importantly, getting to bed early so I can)

I am proud of myself because I have been on this journey so long that certain habits are second nature now (like eating a healthy breakfast, portion control, regular activity, 5+ servings of fruit and vegetables)

I'm proud of myself because I can fit my dress. I didn't try to "get" my husband to eat healthy, I'm working out six days a week and eating on plan everyday. I'm proud of myself for sticking with my plan for more than two months. I'm proud of myself for not making people feel guilty for not eating like I eat!!

I have only been on the Ideal Protein Diet for 11 days but I have lost 8 pounds so far! I think I will be a beautiful bride in May! I will be able to have my size 16W dress taken in. I put on jeans today that have been so uncomfortable that I hadn't worn them in a couple months and today I needed a belt because they were riding down my butt! yay!!!

I am proud of myself because....

I am loosing weight by changing my lifestyle...not dieting.

I am cleaning my house and getting it in order becasue I feel better now.

I am not the only one doing the lifestyle change...my hubby, kids, mom and sister are too. I have not only been an ispiration to myself but to others.

I am working out, which i have never done before.

I'm proud of myself for...

- not giving in to every little food whim I have throughout the day
- walking everyday even when I've "blown" the day's food intake
- not losing all hope when I stumble
