If you have already gone a couple of days, you may not need this, but if you find yourself lighting up again, or gaining weight, try the e cigarette. I quit over three weeks ago, and this is the ONLY thing that worked for me. I haven't had a single craving for the real thing since I tried it. It tastes better, smells better, and there is no second hand smoke.
The longest I have ever made it in the past was 2 weeks. I have "quit" at least 20 times, but with this, it still feels like you are smoking (you breathe out water vapor) and it still feels a lot like a cigarette in your hand.
After 2 weeks I had to switch to a lighter menthol, and now I am ready to switch to a lower nicotine level. I really recommend the Joye 10, which is the one I have and usually the one recommended on e cig forums. If you don't need it great, but it is a lot cheaper than the gum and the patch.
Congrats on your decision! Btw, no weight gain! I have actually lost 14 lbs WHILE not smoking!
