Default getting closer, but still worried

so, ive lost the major bulk of weight to get to my goal, i only have 15 lbs left. i recently changed my goal from 150 to 140 which took me from 5lbs left to 15.

i am GENERALLY happy with my body at this point. im wearing size 8, 10 in juniors stores. my concern is that my belly is still a problem. when i wear tighter tops its like this saggy bulge and you can see rolls. my sides are slim, its JUST in the front. also, i have very small shoulders, they seem to have returned to normal but my ARMS are still large. ive always had larger arms then id like but next to my small shoulders they look like huge sausages hanging down. i really think 140 is where i want to be. im 5'6 and id like to be a good, solid size 8 where i can go in any store and fit into an 8. my question is this, i know its not possible to spot reduce fat, so what do i do? it seems like these last 15 aren't going to make that big of a difference in these 2 spots. do i have to just keep losing and losing until it goes??

Are you doing any strength training? I would rec you add some to your workouts. IMO it makes a huge difference. Congrats on your success so far!

That is awesome!!! I dont know what diet you did or your exercise routine but did you try just targeting those areas in your exercise routine? Maybe using weights for your arms? If you dont mind me asking what diet did you do?

This may sound silly but, have you poked and pinched those areas? Is it muscle or fat or skin?
There are plenty of things you can do. You'll be surprised what difference the next few pounds make. Weights are an absolute! And if all else fails ... there's beautiful clothing out there.

I agree to start encorporating toning exercises if you haven't already done so.

15 lbs is going to make a HUGE difference - just you wait and see. At this point there's just not that much excess fat on you, but perhaps all of 15 lbs. You say you're pretty slim in most places, so where is that 15 lbs going to come off of - the places where it's holding onto - your trouble spots.

Really, you will be pleasantly surprised at how different you will appear come 15 lbs from now.

Oh and it's nice to see you posting again. I see you've been doing fabulously!!!

As your size twin, I'd like to echo what rockinrobin has said. I'm sitting at 144lbs now and the last 10lbs have made a massive difference, I've gone from being a very obvious pear shape to being more or less proportional.

As for the lumps and bumps on your tummy, I think that we all have that after a large weight loss, very few folks have a bikini body right away, if ever, and even the most unattractively skinny women have rolls when they sit down, that's just what skin does.

I found that support underwear is my friend, I've got knickers that hike up my back-side and vests that give me an perfectly flat tummy. They have also both really helped with the being constantly cold issue, I don't know what I'm going to do if the summer ever comes.

I think they said it all...that the last few pounds will make a big difference and you definately want to do some sort of strength training. Congrats on the weight you have already lost and good luck on continueing on to lose that last 15. You won't be sorry you did!!!
