food to combat the hormone fluxes?
So I gained 3.5 pounds in 6 hours with no food being ingested, and not a lot of liquids. Then I found myself snapping at my son for no real reason at all. Then I looked at the calendar, and knew what was coming.
I know how to deal with/combat the weight gain. But does anyone know of any foods that might help with the irritability and snippishness? I am not horrible with it. I mean, I'm not like a raving lunatic, but I do find myself with a much shorter temper and surly attitude for about 3 days or so. Is there anything that can fit into my calorie counting program that you guys have found helpful? I don't mean a comfort type of food, btw..I mean something that has a natural calming effect..herbs etc etc
