It looks fairly similar... enough that I thought it was about living somewhere... is wonen the verb for to live? In German it is wohnen (or leben, but in the context of where you live/location, wohnen). Anyway you are right, it's not similar enough for me to decipher much else! Where I am from there are a lot of Amish people who speak "Pennsylvania Dutch" which is not Dutch (comes from Deutsch mispronounced as Dutch) at all but actually a German dialect... but the cool thing is since I can speak German we can pretty much communicate.
I've been having trouble getting out of bed in the AM... even put my alarm where I have to physically walk across the room to turn it off. No dice... still keep hitting the snooze every 5 minutes and crawling back into bed. Ack!!!

Man have I been busy for a few days. Haven't posted, or worked out. Tonight I went to a FOOD FEST event my sis puts on for March of Dimes. I had dinner first, so I held it down to 1 sliver of cake, 1 cookie and a few bites here or there. Hopefully I didn't do too bad. It's mid-cycle and I am trying to keep it down here. Tomorrow I hit the workout with a walk/jog day. 45 min. I think will do the trick.

Mindy, great job with the eating at your sister's event!
Tonight I was having an apple with some peanut butter as a snack - and somehow my spoon just kept going back into the peanut butter jar - and of course I had to clean it off each time... with my mouth... oh, shoot!

It's the spoon, Iris! It takes your arm hostage and uses it to force-feed you
Seriously, though, with that sort of stuff there is only one remedy: prepare a proper portion in the kitchen and put the makings back in the cupboard. I tend to do the same thing if I take a jar or container of whatever into the living room. Watch me a while later and the container is magically empty...

Very good point, Dutch! I always make the excuse with PB that it's so sticky, and I'll have to dirty TWO utensils (one to scrape it off the other) if I plate it for myself, but I think I'd rather wash another utensil than eat half a jar of PB!

One of my favorite snacks is Teddy grahams dunked in PB. I just get a spoon and dunk thme in that rich, creamy PB. Sometimes it is several spoonfuls. YUM!!!
Today was a cheat day. My friend brought pizza to work and my ex bought McDonalds for dinner. I had one double cheeseburger. I did walk/jog 3 miles. I did a whole 1.2 miles nonstop and a few .5 mile stints. Pretty good.

HEY TEAM ~
Well I was at 185 again this morning.....dang
I am starting to go back to the ways when I started this journey though...
I had some errands to run today and was in fast food country...so I thought...ya know what?...I haven't been fast food for a while....I'll pick up a burger and fries...then I remembered just 2 freakin' days ago I stopped at Taco Bell for lunch.
I had been hungry for their bean burritos...but I make them at home with their sauce...I stopped...got 2 and 3 small tacos...ate 1 burrito and 2 tacos...but had the other taco and burrito for breakfast the next day....dang....
Anyway I just came home, opened up a can of Progresso turkey noodle soup and made a turkey sandwich to go with it....
Really going to try and remember that cheese is a four letter word too...
Be good TEAM!

So I have been battling going back and forth between 198 and 201 this week. I have been extremely hungry this past week then not so hungry some days. So I may need to start adding more fruits and veggies as part of my snacks as well to help fill me up since I've been doing pretty good about having a decent breakfast and having my snacks. Anyways it's getting late and I need to start preparing for bed. Night!

Tonight I am proud to report that I measured out my PB onto my plate and put the jar away (and did NOT get it back out)! Thanks for the reminder to do things like that, Dutch!

YAY IRIS!
No office today, but I have been dealing with a yucky cold for the last 1 1/2 weeks and that meant coming home from work and collapsing after a quick microwave meal (homemade from freezer, not storebought though)
So my house now looks like a bomb went off in it and needs a complete overhaul. So breakfast, cup of coffee and big clean.
Have I ever mentioned I hate housework?
Oh well, at least I will be burning some calories...
Have a terrific Friday, everybody!!!
