OH, boy... I'm back. With my tail between my legs (again) and nothin much to show for it. Seems like when I get busy, I let this weight loss stuff drop!
It's almost St. Patrick's Day, and I do still fit in my costumes, but my stamina is SHOT-- I've just recently started being a manager-- going from 30 hours a week to (probably) 55... (That's my bad, though, I don't HAVE to work that much). STRESSFUL, though!
It's so neat to see most of the familiar faces around here! You are all my heros for sticking in for the long haul!
I'm really sad that I can't be more dedicated-- but I'm going to try to do something for ~me~-- which is something I haven't done in more than a month.

So.. here's my latest conundrum: I want to lose weight (well, and more importantly, I want to get in shape again... the weight is just a plus for me now)-- But I don't want to have to count points, calories, take carbs away, take a pill, or anything like that. :P Any suggestions Maybe my hopes are just a little too high. (and maybe I should lay off my "daily croissant"!)

Good to see you all again, and I'll be keeping in touch!!! (For real this time!)

Check out this site....awesome for GOOD FOODS! ~ http://www.katheats.com/

Default Snowy Tuesday

Wow Kat, welcome back, I was wondering what happened to ya - stick around for a while, will ya?? (Notice the green print, - just for you!)

EZ - I checked out that website, - afraid it's not for me either, 'portion control' that's what it's all about, and if you're eating the right stuff you won't be hungry in between right????

Anne - I'm real close to you, weight-wise, I hit 211 this am and looking for that "0" in the middle also, then I'll be knocking at "Onederland" yeah!! Wanna race? Where are you located if you got 3' of snow?

Did just cut down my portions yesterday since the amount I eat is my biggest factor - not saying I don't need to move more also - but did my waitressing job last night so I got a lot of walking in. Now for today. . .

Be good everyone, stay warm and safe

well not too much has changed here. I feel like I'm in a rut and cannot get out of it.

Kat--welcome back. I hope you find what you need to get back on track. The thing that I do that works for me is eat until I am no longer hungery not full. I call it counting without counting. It does take a while to learn what no longer hungry feels like but it is what works for me. I just do not have the time to o actually count calories. I have tried and just cannot keep at it.

Gary--THANK YOU! That's an awesome link! Now if only I can "convince" Evan (the bf) to eat like that... Or at least, not make a face if I decide to!

lol Margie-- Thanks so much for the green type! Yes-- I'm definitely back, and ready to re-dedicate myself to this.

And mrsaugie-- Thanks for the advice!! Maybe that's where my issue has been-- is that I'm just stuffing myself to eat. Hmm.. Let's see where this no-counting-counting takes me

Kat- Jillian says only eat it if it came from the ground or had a mother. Also I am working on eliminating 2 things from my foods. Partially hydgrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup. There are other things she says to get rid of, but 2 for now is good for me. That seems to be tough enough.

TOM weight has said goodbye. I was 178 today, hoping for 177 something tomorrow. If I could only get a few pounds lower now. This seems to be my losing time, must take advantage of it.

I was getting ready for my workout tonight when my DD came in and our horse was ill. Bad bellyache. Walked her for about an hour between the 2 of us. Had to walk until we got poop. Then I did Shred level 2 for 30 min. So got in a good hour today.

Oh my goodness... Sorry I've been MIA! We ended up get record snowfall in DC; something like four FEET! I feel like a hibernating bear. Went from 208 back to 211; totally deserved it after eating cookies, drinking wine and hot chocolate. Somewhere in all of that eating, set aside the food journal and stopped stepping on the scale every day. So I am once again "starting over."

MargieB - now that I've lost that "0" in the middle, we can work towards it again. I promise not to give up if you don't! And then we can get back into the "1"00's.

EZMoney - hope you find some inspiration to get the numbers going down again.

Hang in there team!!

TOM weight is gone, plus a little. 177.4 today, but Friday I saw 176.4. I really liked that number. I am trying to get back to it.
